If the Miami Dolphins are able to retain Dom Capers as defensive coordinator, then the next Miami Dolphins head coach is going to be coming from an offensive minded background. That's the latest news going around inside the Phinz organizaton....

If that is indeed true, that would rule out the possibility of candidates like Mike Tomlin / Ron Rivera / Rex Ryan / or any other defensive coach getting the head coaching job in Miami....

My personal belief is that our next head coach will be either Cam Cameron / Ken Whisenhunt / or Brian Shottenhiemer. Dom Capers will head up the defense, and then all we need is an OC to work with our head coach....

PHINZ RULE!!!!

I would like it, but do you have a link for that "latest news going around inside the Phinz organizaton...." statement? Or do you have some inside source? A cousin who knows the guy who does the laundry's sister?

No thats speculation.
You have apoint why would they want to keep Capers so badly?

Hmmm, who's the best offensive minded coach avalible, not on that list?

I would love to have Shottenheimer win the job now that Capers is in place. As its been said, Capers would provide the knowledge that Brian might lack. Kind of like Kirk and Spock. As Brian gets a few years under his belt, and if the team is successful of course, then Capers would be a canidate again for other other HC jobs.

Brian Billick. :D

I expected more out of the Ravens today; maybe their owner feels the same way. I know they had a great record this year, but that's just salt in the wound at this point. Something to watch in Baltimore over the next 48 hours I would think.
