Alright.... First we acquired Daunte as our future QB who will take our team all the way to the SB...

"Great" we said back then he is what we were hoping for. No QB has filled Marino's shoes since he retired...

He was no ready for the 06 season, "Dick" Saban rushed him and DC ended up being far more injured...

Now he is running with no pain, he is just about to be ready he is a month away from starting the 2nd mini camp.

And finally we have what we have been hping for...

An elite QB at DC
an excellent 2nd QB Cleo Lemon
A rookie to groom in a year John Beck

What the hell do we want Trent Green FOR?????

I say let's stick to what we already have....

Even if Cleo Starts as I said before, he is far better than Harrington ever was...

i completly agree like c-pep said when he's healthy he's and elite qb and now that saban is gone he' not being rushed back and he's taking all the neccesary steps to come back and ready to go, we don't need Trent Green, and c-pep will prove all the haters wrong come opening day when he's gonna be the starting qb of the dolphins.

Yea I Belive C-pep Should Get A Second Chance

Cameron's system requires a smart, quick thinking QB. Trent Green is that. John Beck is that. Daunte Culpepper is anything but that. Hence why Daunte will be gone, regardless of his health.

Sheesh, here we go again.....

Let's face it, Culpepper is as good as gone once Qb T. Green is aquired. Nothing has changed since the draft in regards to Culpepper's situation either, he's still too injured to contribute anything. Mueller / Cameron will likely release him once we have Green on the roster, and like it or not, Green will be our starting Qb in 2007.....

I hope it happens soon so we can put all of this Culpepper speculation to rest once and for all.....

PHINZ RULE!!!!

Doesn`t matter if Daunte is healthy or not, he`s still a statue back there who holds onto the ball way too long (not a good thing when Careys supposed to be protecting your blindside). I`m not real stoked about Green either, but I think he`s an improvement over Culpepper.

The reason is simple DC is NOT an elite QB, he was a product of a very particular offense (which is totally different than our offense), and counted on a very particular reciever to make it work. Too many conditions to make an offense run. DC is a bust.

I just hope we can get something for DC. Anything at this point. but a 4th round pick would be great. Unfortunately, with his situation the last 2 years , he really h as no value rightnow.

If healthy C-Pep could be in the mix this year. we will not just drop him if we can get some sort of value for him!!!!!

If we had Quinn then Trent would have been a nice mentor for one year till Brady took over. I think Beck would need a few years atleast to be ready thus making Daunte the better choice if he is healthy because he is around 6 years younger then Trent.

With our D all we need is a game manager, all our offense has to do its not screw it up. Daunte is good for two turnovers per Sunday, that is the only thing that can keep us from winning.

daunte is gone. hes not gonna be healthy in time to do anything with us. a buddy of mine saw him in muvico in lauderdale last night and said he still has a limp. once we get green cpep is done..

actually it would take more time to Quinn to start since Beck is more mature...
