His line would be fine had Smiley, Thomas and Grove remained healthy, but outside using the #1 pick overall on Jake Long, he has yet to develop a solid lineman in Miami. 4 years, and that is disappointing.
Jerry/Gardner/Murphy have all pretty much busted and he keeps tinkering with the wrong spots on the line. To continue to keep Incognito at LG is dumb. He would solidify the RG spot and you have an excellent move guy in Pouncey who would be IDEAL at LG. You have several FA Centers out there who you can sign and be solid in the middle. That leaves RT with several options . . . we can figure that out.
Until then, Sparano and company just have pieces in the wrong spots and the longer this continues the more the struggles will against top tier defensive fronts. It definitely worrisome that this "Oline guru" as a headcoach can't get his line in order. Rex Ryan and Belichek, if there are problems, they would take over their specialities . . . this OLine is a problem . . . Sparano needs to take over his speciality and get it right.
