Now you may not agree with the players selected but it`s more of a point of the importance of postion and when we draft it.

Draft 1

1. D.Butler CB - said to have the most fluid hips of all the CB`s
2. C.Barwin OLB - possible one year wonder but a great athlete
2. B.Robiskie WR - great route runner, most technically sound WR of the draft
3. C.Munnerlyn CB - solid value adds for future depth
4. C.Baker NT - great speed, nice size, solid strength
5. J.Mauga ILB - big tackling machine, needs time coming off surgery
7. J.Valdez OT
7. R.Foster OT
7. B.Southerland FB - big solid blocking FB

This draft really looks after the CB depth issues with one of the best CB`s available, a promising WR, a NT that could step in after one year and an ILB that may take a year or two of special teams before he steps in. I`m taking OT late because their here to develope and we now have plenty OG`s with Satele there now.

Draft 2

1. L.English OLB - fastest first 3 steps giving him a huge advantage on the rush
2. A. Smith CB - great little CB
2. J.Gilbert DE - excellent depth DE with great speed off the edge
3. R.Barden WR - will need to be brought along slowly with big upside
4. J.Brinkley ILB - great thumper inside that is built in BP`s ideal mold
5. T.Femmetta FB - ideal punishing blocking FB for our run game
7. J.Valdez OT
7. R.Foster OT
7. A.Dixon NT - huge kid that was a 3rd round prospect before injury

Now this draft takes one of the best edge rushers in English and a small but talented CB, depth at dline and a project WR in Barden, an ILB that might step in right away, a punishing FB and a project NT.

Draft 3

1. H.Nicks WR - compared to Boldin enough said
2. R.Brace NT - huge run stuffer
2. J.Phillips ILB - solid, fast, complete ILB
3. L.Sidbury OLB - rising super fast kid
4. D.Johnson CB - 6`1 small school kid
5. R.Miller NT - great speed for a 310lb plugger, lunch pail player
7. J.Valdez OT
7. R.Foster OT
7. J.Lane FB - 285lbs should be able to open some holes

In this draft we get one of the best WR available to us, we take care of our long need at NT, we take a real good ILB, one of the fastest OLB in the draft, the fact that we have improved our pass rush allows us to wait on getting a CB and Johnson has a chance to shine in our defense.

So which way would you go, again it`s not about the player as much as it is the position and where we select it.

Personally I`d like to Draft number 2, shoring up the pass rush and getting depth on the dline while getting an awesome CB in Smith covers alot in one draft.

Damn. I'm gonna have to go for 2. It aims to solve our major problems on defense: the secondary and pass rush. I like Ramses Barden. Our depth at receiver won't force him into early action and allows him to develop.

man mock 3 is nice except jason phillips we could pick him up in 4th round probably.. we need a cb there at 2a...
number one aint bad...

ill go with #3, but i'd be very upset with the phillips pick, hes a good player, maybe in 3rd round, 2nd is too early

Draft 2 seems to bring in the best value to me. I'm not sure Butler deserves to be a first round pick, and I don't think Ron Brace has any business going early 2nd.

I picked 2 only because you had Jasper Brinkley in there. :D But he won't make it to the 4th round, especially not at our pick. He could go as high as late 2nd.

you do not draft a fb never, you get them as undrafted free agents, unless they are like the great mike alstott
