It will be very interesting when the pads go on. Strength,desire, and knowledge will intermix and new guys will rise to the occassion. These things will ask speculation to walk out the front door. New topics will develop on this board about who is surprising and disappointing. I guarantee there will be new names to discuss in one form or fashion, and responses from guys who told us so weeks ago.

I am excited that there will be surprises and accustomed to the disappointments. With that said, I am ready for the underdogs and excited about a new attitude at least through the first quarter of the season. Hopefully all that will replace discussions about character, "weed", and long lasting vents of seasons past. I am happy about an air of optimism in the land of Dolphin. One that didn't truly exist over the last few seasons.

So here is a cheer for the concept of forgiveness, hope, excitement, intelligence, and honesty. May all those things override our tendency for the negative.

I think with all the great stuff thats happend to us since Christmas....or since the Man arrived in southbeach, we as fans need to curb our enthusiasim just a bit. I don't mean to rain on anyone's parade here, but we have some hurdles to get over first. If there is any fan here thats as excited as me, I'd be surprised. Still to get your hopes up so early is a tough thing to control when for the last five years we were more then repectable and always came up short (coaching IMO). With the addition of so many upgrades it's hard not to be thrilled. We are IMO, a much better,deeper team. Better coaching and the talent either returning or added has been fun to watch. Remember we are making all these positve changes and the Bill's...my most hated rivals have done little to improve and Henry is not happy. While the Bills did win 9 games, 2 of those wins were due to our misfortune and less to do with their talent. So this makes keeping things in perspective even tougher. To end this little rant of mine I'd like to say, think of the worst record the fins could have, and the best record you think the fins could have and then choose a number somewhere in between. I promise you, if you follow this advise you won't have a disppointing season as a fin fan!!
