To Clean OUT the MESS Left over from Dave...
I can think of 4 HIGH Draft Picks that can`t even play...
#2 Eddie Moore
#3 Taylor Whitley
#3 Traded for L.Gordon
#2 Traded for A.J.
THAT is alot to give UP for NUTHIN....Give Nick more then 3 Pre-season games....He has ALOT of work to do...

yeah and during this time you can really notice who are real dolphins fans and who are pretenders.
 
Wanny really did leave a mess down here. Nick is going to need some time to mold the team to his way, I just hope it doesn't take a long time.
 
Yes he does have work to do, but he did not do anything to address our 2 most glaring needs inthe offseason, OL and QB, this is a mistake that is squarely on Saban's shoulders, and the 2 positions int he pre season that are holding this team back.

You cannot address all of those positions in one off-season. It takes time. We need to draft better and develop better. Enough with signing other peopl's garbage.

How can you tell that because people dont like what they have seen so far? Alot of us didnt expect to look this bad even with the new systems.

Nonsense!!! Nick signed one of the best OLINE coach in the game in Hauck. He signed Stockar Mcdougle to play RT who played on a team that has allowed the fewest sacks in the league the last 2 seasons. He also got Gus Frerrotte to play QB while still giving our 2nd rd. draft pick this season a chance to prove himself. Who would you have gotten to play QB???

When Aaron Rodgers was free falling through the 15's and 20's of the draft, I would have considered trading away future picks ( i know but this time it would have been justified) to get him to play QB. That would have been great value to get him in the mid 20's of round 1.

And not that Kelly Holcomb is anything special, but he is slightly better than Gus.
 
No criticism of Nick from me. He'll do the best that can be done with this group of players.
 
I must admit, this team is in worse shape than I originally thought. With that being said I am totally willing to give Nick a generous amount of time (at least two more draft classes to get this headed in the right direction....

We went with Gus because of Linehan. Linehan must have believed in Gus and also likes the fact he knew the Offense. Now Holcomb being better than Gus is just a matter of your Opinion. The coaches went with who they knew. As far as Aaron Rodgers is concerned that would of meant that we would have giving up on Feely before even seeing what he could do this year. Its easy to say what we should of done after the fact.
