I have decided that I would like to follow the Italian Football League this coming season. I now have the opportunity to watch games because an Italian cafe has just opened near me and they offer the games on TV. I am looking for a team to become mine. Right now I follow A.S. Bari in Serie B since that is where my grnadfather was from.

I would like some feedback from you soccer fans as to what may be a good team to latch on to. However, I do not wish to go with Juventus, Milan or any other of the other penalized teams. thanks.
 
I like As Roma. There a good team and is like the top teams that didnt get accused of cheating. I dont know there's not much i can tell you since i don't get to watch all there games but if your a Us national team fan then As roma prolly isn't a good choice because they have De Rossi lol.

I was thinking of going with Inter. Not because they were declared the winners but just from reading about them. It is tough, most of the serie a teams are from the north and my family is from the south. There are a lot of international players on the team as well. Any negatives with this team? let me know.
 
Inter hasn't won the scudetto for like 15 years, okay they won this year but that was just a bit wierd. The problem with inter is that they have great players and stars but they never look like a team.

who would you suggest? you sound like you know what you are talking about. Fiorenza? Udinese? Parma?
 
I like AS Roma they don't win a lot of prizes either but I just like Totti a lot. This year they have a good chance of winning the scudetto ( so does Inter) because Juvenus is gone and AC Milan has minus 9 points.
I don't really like Serie A most of the games are rather boring, unlike English premier league.
 
I lived in Verona from 1971-1975....I cannot remember whether Verona is in Series A or Series B but they had yellow and blue uniforms with a donkey on them. I went to see them play about 5 times when I lived there. My favorite team has always been Juventus,,,,,I also was a big fan of Lazio.....go with Lazio.
 
I love how Soccer's such an international game and for that reason, while I have favorite teams, I can watch any games and not get bored because I enjoy watching players.

My advice would be to not pick a team you want to support just yet. Watch a few games and then follow the team(s) you enjoy the most.

Having said that, my favorite teams in Italy are Inter and AC Milan. AC because they have a huge contingent of Brasilians including one of my favorite players Kaka, and Inter because they have Adriano. I still like the Spanish league a lot better than Serie A though.
