ladies and gentleman, im sorry but the phins have disappointed me ever since I can remember, yea we had good runs in the mid/late-90s but in the end, It all ended in heart break.

All my life i could never even pick a 2nd team to root for, but now I find myself very close...

If anybody can offer some help... i feel a bit standed

Your 24 man, I'm 22, do you know how few teams have won a super bowl since weve been fans? Not a lot. There are dozens of teams with fans out there going boo-hoo too. Its a league of 32 teams. And for you to sit there and say your going to jump ship says one thing, your not a real fan, your a guy who just wants to jump on some bandwagon.

Well, go then. Jump ship after one bad preseason game. Forget the fact that we are buidling a good team for the future. Forget the fact that the team has just gone through a major overhaul this offseason. Ignore the fact that the Dolphins cant dissapoint you this year because they are not expected to do anything this year. Go jump on the Colts or Patriots bandwagon as your "second team." And when they are in the dumps or fail to win a Super Bowl over time, dont come crawling back.

It's going through these hard times that make reaching the top all the much sweeter. My uncle was a Packers fan since he was a kid, and he never saw them win the big one. But when Favre finally got them to the top in 96/97 he couldnt help but shed tears in pure happiness. He was 31 years old when his favorite team finally won the big one. Do you think the win would have been so sweet if he had a second team?

Yeah, the thing is I just dont believe in this whole second team thing. It just makes no sense to me unless that second team is a home town team. It's your call, but one day standing behind the Dolphins 100% is going to pay off. There is just too much winning tradition, concern, and expectations for the Miami Dolphins franchise.

WE WILL WIN AGAIN . . . soon. :)
