A few years ago, the Eagles picked a QB from Syracuse ahead of a record setting, Heisman Trophy winning RB from Texas. The Philly fans booed the poor guy right off the stage on what was to be the greatest moment of his life............ Fast forward............The QB led the Eagles to multiple playoff appearances and a SB while the RB got traded, retired, suspended, played in Canada, and let 2 franchises down. The Eagles fans were MORONS to boo the pick of Donovan McNabb just like the Dolphins fans are MORONS for booing the pick of Ted Ginn Jr.!

We just added an ultra versatile play maker who will be a threat to take it to the house on EVERY touch! Want to know what Ted Ginns effect on a game is? Watch film of some Buckeye games from last year and then watch the National Championship. Cam knows offense! Shut your stupid traps, sit back and at least give them the benefit of the doubt! You people who are complaining and booing are fools!
 
Ginn brings more than himself. He allows Chambers to move into the slot more often without us losing our outside threat. He backs up the safetys a few steps and plants it in their minds. He was a great pick.

As for Quinn it's obvious that Cam thinks Beck can be a very good and start in this league. Who are we to disagree? Whether Beck is better only time will tell, but personally I loved our draft and even if I didn't I would still wish the best for the guys we did draft.
 
Hey, lighten up man. At least they care. They are passionate fans.

I'm utterly elated that we didn't take Quinn because I think he is going to be a huge bust but I'm totally OK with the fans who feel differently booing and voicing their displeasure, so long as nobody doe anything rash like commit a violent act or God forbid, become a Raider fan or something.

I think it is really classless the way some of us have gone about it though. Sure a lot of us wanted Quinn (myself included, though looking at the whole picture I think we did better without him) but that is no reason to hate on Ginn, or Beck or anyone else we drafted. Just my opinion.
 
Are u kidding me, are u completely brain dead dude? Quinn was our QB of the next 10-15 years, who threw 37 TD's last year, and plays in a pro style offense. Instead we go for a guy as durable as a toothpick. Good job dumb and dumber, opps I mean Cam and Randy. They should be so fired for that pick. Ginn will have little impact on offense because he won't be able to take the hit of a real NFL LB but hey atleast we got a guy that can return kicks and punts, maybe even for a TD here and there. We pay good money and we have the right to yell u moron and don't even question anyone loyalty to this team, if u knew and saw me u certainly would not try and question mine.
 
I grade our draft an F. Ginn, like I said he would be, is the biggest reach in the 1st round.

I had this guy dropping to the 2nd round, no lie.

We're talking about a guy who has yet to make a difficult catch, does not have the greatest hands, and has a tendency to body catch just like his cousin Chambers. Everyone here is just so wow'd and amazed about his speed, as if his speed is going to buy him out for everything. You don't draft unpolished #3 receivers/punt returners in the Top 10, even Alex44 knows this, I can pull out posts from the past where he says this.

There was just no excuse for this at all. I don't care what any of you people think, NO EXCUSE AT ALL. NONE. We had Brady Quinn, a polished franchise QB, sitting on our laps, and we pass on him for Ted Ginn Jr, who isn't even half the type of prospect Quinn is.

We deserve to be the laughing stock. I am completely embarrassed.
 
I don't feel that you can compare McNabb to Ginn. The QB touches the ball every time, where the WR may only get 5 touches a game. I didn't reall have a problem with them skipping on Quinn i just feel that at the #9 spot it was to high for Ginn who I believe will not be a starting WR and only contribute as a PR and KR. Too me it was like drafting a K or P and now having to pay a boat load of money.
 
not mobile ok lets talk about that i dont remeber did dan marino run he stayed in the pocket john beck can move out of the pocket and since u guy like stats 6 rushing td last year for john beck 2 for brady quinn i dont care if ure a yard or 20 yards u have to be mobile to run in to the end zone

A little concerned with the Ginn pick 1st round but not unhappy at all about not having Quinn. Overated (and over publicized) and using stats beefed up playing against the soft schedule ND plays, the 37 TD's don't mean a whole lot. How many did he have against USC, UM, LSU? When the competition increased his game went into the tank.

Heh, IMO, the Dolphins cheaped out. Period. They didn't want to draft Brady Quinn in the Top 10 because they did not want to pay Brady Quinn Top 3 money just like Leinart got last year dropping at #10 to Arizona.

There's no way they had Ted Ginn rated higher than Brady Quinn. None. Zip.

Ted Ginn Jr. I can't wait to see how he takes a hit from an NFL defensiveback/linebacker with his playing weight of 178. We have already seen how hard Reggie Bush bounces on the ground with his light weight of 201, now it's Ginn's turn.

Wow, we're screwed.

Best case scenario with Ginn is he becomes a 1-2 year wonder like Dante Hall returning....and when was Hall taken?

So now we're stuck with a guy at pick # frieking 9 who will be a career PR/KR.....and making Lord knows how many millions to do it.
 
man, there is more stupidity in this thread than I can hardly stand... you draft haters really need to LEARN about our picks, instead of parroting the same uninformed drivel I have seen here... you only make yourselves look REAL dumb to those who actually bothered to LEARN the facts.

Calmrage, I'm with you brother, we have some real twits for fans.. I too was/am embarrassed by their actions... now we get to see their stupid az.. butts OVER and OVER again on sports center arrggg

we have many months before we play a game, instead of acting like little sissy crybabies, I suggest we embrace Cam's plan, he has predicated his ENTIRE career on these selections, (how can you think he took it lightly...) lets see what he adds to the larder today and rally round the coaching staff.
 
i love our draft. i put my faith into what cam and randy know. they are the ones who interviewed and scouted these guys. people need to quit whining and move on

You said it man. I don't care if they would have drafted a case of footall's with their second pick I stand by my team. I welcome Ginn and Beck and the others and can't wait to see how this season plays out.

Maybe there is something dead in your brain, how do you know he is our qb for the next 10-15 years. If you know something we all dont, please let us know I personally would vote you in as our GM.:shakeno:
