It’s filthy rotten stinkin slimy green bastard week again…

Always tough going into New York. Miami will have to bring its A game. Hopefully, Tua will be more in sync, as I expect the Jets to sell out to stop the run game.
Tua needs to have a good game passing the ball.

Right now he’s blood in the water.

He better be ready to handle the blitz scheme that is coming

I agree but how telling is it that the Dolphins have to bring their "A" game to beat the Jets.... so depressing.
Miami's not good enough to beat many teams if they are off their game. In this one, I think winning the turnover battle could be huge. I guess you could say that about most games. 🤣

Even though he ran all over in the 1st meeting, I would still rather face Fields over Tyrod.

Dont have a lot of optimism this week. The Jets are bad but Tua cant play in the cold - forecast has backed off on precipitation for Sunday but temperatures will be well into the 30s during the afternoon. This game to me has all the makings of another frozen stinker by Uce.

But now and always, FTJ

For Tua, coming off a bye with that performance, is unsettling at best. Big test for him.
And also coming off a consecutive bad performance against the commanders

The player is regressing instead of progressing in a very familiar system at 27 and better Oline play than he’s had

Sadly I think this game comes down to which Tua we get. Based on recent weeks that doesn't bode well for a win.
He’s due that’s for sure

There is a rock bottom left to explore shoukd be interesting to see if he can avoid it

Good to great and don’t have streaks like this don’t have seasons like this where they show such ineptitude and lazy on the field play

Makes me wonder if defenses are playing Miami's receivers differently? Against New Orleans, it appeared the Saints took away Tua's first read quite often. Was that first read Waddle, who wasn't much of a factor? Obviously, it's a little different without Tyreek Hill too.

Not an excuse, but the Dolphins pass protection is still below par. Bottom line, though, Tua has to be at his best if Miami is going to make a run.

can’t believe we actually play on Monday nite and Sunday nite during this run

So the whole world is gonna see if this dude has some innner fortitude to shape out of whatever funk he’s in.

Some of that funk is do to neglect so that ain’t gonna improve but man he really needs to play with more urgency, fire, emotion etc

Maybe his heart isn't in it? I don't know. He has a wife and children now, along with several concussions. That has to be something he thinks about, even if he doesn't publicly admit it.

You still see him throw darts, at times, so the idea that his arm strength isn't what is was doesn't seem to hold weight in my estimation. Although, we know he's never had a particularly strong arm to begin with. My biggest concern has been the decision making, which is where he has to be top-notch. The 14 interceptions are way too many for a quarterback with Tua's skillset. Too many are "dumb" throws into double coverage etc. Some are tips that aren't really his fault.

Are you seeing lack of effort in practices?
