It's Jets week - Vol. II

Ummm, maybe. It kind of happened a few years ago. If the team that has nothing on the line has a coach they hate and are ready to turn out, then the favored team has a good shot to win. This is not the case as this week as the Jets players like Rex and want the best for him.

I have to disagree with you here. These players feel bad after this last loss. Angry and ready to prove the world wrong. Our fins have a chip on their shoulder and will be ready to feed on the jests to make it happen.

I do like when you're pessimistic about the fins though. With the exception of last week we end up winning when you get these bad feelings. Keep it up in January!

Do not misinterpret pessimism with analyzing what might be the pitfalls for the team we love and cheer for.
 
Not sure some of you are getting into the spirit of this thread.

It's not about last week. It's not about giving ANY credit to the green pukes.

After reading a bunch of Hayden's posts this week, Im starting to feel like after the Phins destroy the Jests this week, there should be no TOS violations for VIP members when it comes to addressing Hayden for at least a week or so.

I hope you are right they do destroy the Jets. I just do not see it, my friend.

Getting to 9-7 is an accomplishment on so many fronts. If there would be a playoff game I might do cartwheels.

Exactly.

I gotta hand it to Bumpus. If there is any poster on this board who loathes the Jests as much as I do, its Bumpus.

If there is a better way for us to get in the playoffs, I cant think of one. That was the greatest thing about winning the division that year with Pennington. We did it by beating the **** out of the sorry ass ****ing Jests.

The perfect compliment to that win would be getting ourselves into the playoffs in week 17 with a win over the **** organization that is the Jests. The capper would be to not only propel ourselves into the playoffs, but to finish off Rex's head coaching career by beating the hell out of his pathetic squad. Dropping a 40 burger on that overrated defense he has taken so much pride in over the years would make it so sweet.
 


Thanks for this Bump. The last game took a lot out of me as I spent Christmas with friends from Buffalo :bobdole:
