Its not a matter of if our offense will get going, but when? Our offense has alot of talent on it and has great coaching, once it gets going, we will be a force to be reckoned with. Lets face it, our offense came out flat against Atlanta but you can bet that wont happen next week against the colts.

Once this offense does get going with the running game and good efficient passing with pennington, we will be a tough team to beat because our defense is very very good. We did a very good job against one of the top 5 offenses, maybe the number 1 offense in the league even though of the incredible field position they kept getting from turnovers. Im not panicking at all because once our offense gets going, we will be that team we all envisioned.

I like your positive vibe............we need more fans like you brotha. The negativity of some folks just brings us down as a fan base, do we REALLY want to be like jets fans?
nice post!

One thing this staff has got to do, I think..And it's not out of the question...But they've GOT to get this team ready to play Week 1. Two straight seasons in a row now we've come out looking like clowns offenseivly. Sparano's got to fire the ST coach as well. We clearly have not gotten better on STs.

I agree we are not as bad as we looked sunday. Without the 2nd half fumble by Fasano that's a game. The playcalling left somethign to be desired as well.

Agree...... alot of people say it takes time for the Oline to jell well, I hope that Oline Jello is almost firm.........
However the key is to keep the key players on the field, as we have already seen just the first week of the season and several teams have already lost "key players" due to injury some season ending.

How fans post on message boards has nothing to do with how the team performs...

It's not the reason they lost last week....it's not the reason they won 11 games last year....it's not the reason they went 1-15 the year before...

Some people post just to cheer.....some people post to point out what went wrong....some people post because they just like to talk about football....

You cheering on here isn't going to make the team play any better next week than the guy that's bitching about one of Miami's pro bowler getting blown up by the oppositions 2nd stringer....

Everyone has a right to an opinion and the right to post it....

If people like you would focus more on the players than the fans.....you might find an answer or two....

i agree that the past few seasons r openers we have looked very sluggish etc, but lots of teams dont get into sync really till like week 3-4. i mean if u take a look at the colts last season they got shutdown by the bears and then the next week the vikes, until they rlly got things clicking. even this year the colts first game they werent so great offensivly, i mean i no wayne had 150 but besides that 14 pts only very uncharecteristic. bottom line i do agree that we got to play better in openers, but r offense should get its act together and into sync fully as early as this week.

This offense will click when it finds some sort of an identity.

It seemed they were endlessly searching for something to work and didn't really stick with any one thing consistently. I understand it's a tall order with defenders constantly in your face.

The one spark I did notice was Ricky Williams.

I would start there.

For example....if Jake Long was still abused like he was Sunday....or Fasano's fumbles....or Pennington's pathetic play...the piss poor special teams....etc.....but Miami still squeaked out a win.....and somebody still wanted to come in here and point out these things....

The "fans" would tell them to get lost and stop being negative because Miami won the game....

When the same sort of things show up in a loss....they get magnified....but the same issues were still there both times....just the end results were different...

There's nothing positive to point out so far other than the run defense for one game....

Not everybody is ready to jump off a cliff because Miami lost.....they'd have the same concerns in a win....

Some people already expected this team to win around 8 games or so....

It's the one's that expect Miami to win every week that gets their feelings hurt the most when they lose...

Does this really look like an offense that will be a force to be reckoned with? lol

They didn't even look like that last year when they were going up against the worst defenses in the league...
