Round 1... Miami fumbles..

This was totally boneazz STUPID... Ginn is NOT a #9 ... wait change that, Ginn is not a 1st round player.. But now thanks to Miami.. he'll have a #9 ego and a #9 paycheck and 3rd round talent to back it up..

The way I see it.. If Mueller didnt want Quinn, fine by me... the much speculation about his talent as a player and I am really OK with Mueller not liking him or not wanting him...

But what I am pissed about is Miami wasted a high draft pick!!! They could have very easily traded it to Cleveland or some other team for multiple 2nd or 3rd round picks and I'm 100% convinced Ginn would have been there at #40..

So far... this is Speilman/Wanny de ja vu

first play of the season, ginn takes a wr screen to the house. You'll change your tune.

To me this pick was a punch in the face and a kick in the nuts, i say that because to no draft quinn is just stupid it felt like getting kicked in the nuts, and fine they didnt want Quinn, but then they should have drafted a DB but to draft Ginn who in my opinion will be the equilivent to Dante Hall a great return man but nothing more than a #3 receiver is like getting punched in the face after getting kicked in the nuts

I love the pick. I have loved that guy since his freshman year. Ohio State players are always coached well and compete at high levels in the NFL.

like Mo Clarrett? or maybe tomorrow's big guy, Troy Smith.:sidelol: Or maybe you meant David Boston?:shakeno:

If they wanted a WR, Bowe was the pick.

Ginn may turn out to be the best kickoff receiver in the history of the NFL.. He may be so fast, DB's and Safeties might actually fear him.. Hell, he might even turn out to be the TD leader for the next 10.. no one knows for sure..

But GD'it.. They could have had him with the 40 pick and SEVERAL of the ESPN guys said he could have lasted until the 3rd round..

The bottom line is.. The Dolphin management f'd up.. Just like Speilman did with trading up to get Carey in the 2004 draft..

so you name 2 players in the NFL from Ohio State who didnt have too much success, and according to you, that's a basis to completely dismiss Ginn Jr as successful. But you fail to leave out players from Ohio State like:

Mike Vrabel
Joey Galloway
Dan Wilkinson
Eddie George
Terry Glenn
Nate Clements
Mike Doss
Chris Gamble
Michael Jenkins
Will Allen

all successful...the only thing funny is your ignorance and pessimism:sidelol: Think before you type next time.

oh and I forgot about AJ Hawk and Santonio Holmes...both successful rookies last year...

that title belongs to devin hester.....one all i know is that we better pick ben patrick in the 4th before i rent an airplane to fly over a game saying fire mueller / cameron.....two if they wanted this great returner draft him in the 3rd round..plenty of returners where chosen there today.....and like stated before if u wanted a wr then trade down or choose bowe

I maybe wrong...but wasn't Hawk on IR?

No. I don't believe he was

"In his rookie season, A.J. Hawk led the Packers' defense with 119 total tackles, 82 of them solo. He also recorded 2 interceptions, 3.5 sacks, 6 passes defended and 1 forced fumble. [3]. He was third place in voting for the Associated Press Defensive Rookie of the Year"

that's straight from wikipedia... it says he started 16 games

Ginn is the second best WR in the draft IMO. He is the fastest Dolphin in history. He has the potential to be a TD-producing machine for years and years. There's no way he would have dropped past the teens if we had passed on him. EVERYBODY in the teens would have loved to get him. The media is just catering to the mindless masses who think we should have gave up our entire draft to move up to 2 to get Quinn.
