This argument has been used on this board quite a bit lately... "Preseason dosn't matter" ""We haven't game planned"

Maybe preseason dosn't matter to the Pats, Colts, Eagles, and a select few other teams.... but for teams like the Dolphins who have alot of new guys and alot of unproven guys, it means alot.....

In a few weeks it won't be "only preseason" and if they don't improve it could be a disater.

Preseason SHOULD mean alot to the many guys on your roster trying to win a starting spot, or even a spot at all....

Preseason SHOULD mean alot for your QB's, the starting job is up in the air, and instead of grabing it and running, they have gotten progressivly worse.

It will mean alot when the team that played sloppy, poorly executed preseason games plays that way in the regular season... or do they have a "good" switch they'll use when week one rolls around.

Again thanx for informing me of these things.. Many of the guys fighting for roster spots are backups at best and most will hardly see playing time during the season. When I see Taylor still pounding QB's in the 4th Quarter I will begin to ***** about our team but not before.

Preseason does matter. It tells you where we're at. If you don't think preseason matters you need a reality check. It may not count against our record, but it sure as hell does give us an idea of how we're going to perform in the regular season. If the Dolphins don't do something against Tampa, I think it's time to start panicking.

I don't understand this panicking. The Dolphins were 4-12 last year. It is time to be free for once. Look forward to a season where they will most likely lose.

Hell yes preseason matters. Look at Miami last preseason (04) and you can't tell me that the same issues we had then didn't carry over into the regular season.

gameplanning in preseason games is meant for home games and you pick one out of 4 or 5 to do it cus you dont want the rest of the league to see what your doing. its a no brainer! thats why the bills looked sick in the other preseason games while they looked good in the process of bruised ribs for Moulds. he he. that should bother him for a while, cant wait til someone lays a hit on him that makes him think a little more.

Now you did it, you were looking under attempts, now the mass of Bills fans will come back and tell you he has a better QB rating then both AJ and Gus, and they will be right!

So what???...

Losman has a .2 percentage rating higher than Frerotte. He's also played in one less game, and has yet to face a defensive team with the talent the Jags or Steelers have.....

His longest completion is 18 yards!!!....LOL!!!!!!!!!!

PHINZ RULE!!!

well, i would agree with that last sentence, but preseason is for home games for your crowd, otherwise, teams dont give a rats pattooty.

mark it down now, Losman will be lost for the season at some point when he runs around like he does. It will happen sooner or later. and he is running around like crazy becuase his Oline is not very good. Like you said, wait till they run into the AFC east defenses. he will crumble.

Well, that 4-12 record may not get any better. I was expecting to win a few more games this year at least. But it seems as though we have the same problems as we did in 04. A poor Oline, and two QBs who just aren't starting material.

The only improvement i've seen on this team is at RB, and DL. But at the same time our secondary is weaker, and what good is a running game when there's nobody to block for them.
