We've seen 4 preseason games, we've read all the tidbit bits of information we could find... And now we have our first regular season game under our belts.. Even tho we lost, how do you feel about the team moving forward for the next 15 games?

It's really tough to draw conclusions after week one, since every year you seem to get wacky results out of week one. But I think that if what we saw yesterday is a fairly accurate glimpse of how our defense will play during this season, this football team can absolutely win 9-10 games. Just gotta continue to pull it together and get the offense rolling.

So I'm taking option 2, I think we could be in for a fun season.

(and now that I've said that, get ready for 2007 all over again )

I thought the defense had more talent then last season...if they can get this team to 500 through the first 8 games and the offense gets its **** together and starts to get use to the new system, they could easily be fighting for a playoff spot. Coaching matters, players buying in to it does as well.

I was encouraged by what I saw in Seattle, yes they lost, but that is a very good football team, with a elite defense and a very good QB and an extremely hard environment to play in. I was already excited for the season, but even more so now.

Blocked FG.
Predictable playcalling.
Poor run blocking.
No production from the run game.
Free blitzers to the QB.
Failed 4th down conversion.
Missed tackles.
Exploited CBs.
Couldn't keep the opponent under 100 yds rushing.
Zero pass rush when it mattered despite an immobile QB due to injury.
Bend but don't break defense was bent and broken.

But boy oh boy, sure sounds like another fun Dolphin season on the horizon.

Colostomy bag is like a different poster this year. So optimistic last year and so pessimistic this year. Are you trying the reverse phycology thing .

And yet we were a dropped pass or a made FG away from beating a SB contender in their home stadium. Still a lot to clean up but they played much better than most expected. Still not overly optimistic but more so than before this game.

Not voting b/c 'Undecided' isn't an option. I expected Seattle to kick their ass. They didn't so now I don't know what to expect.

Can be a fun season if the likes of Stills do not make basic game changing mistakes otherwise it's going to be a frustrating one. I'd like to see the team just play to an improved level from last season. If they can accomplish that then they will compete and give themselves a chance to win some games.

I do think it will be a more fun season than anything fans have seen in years. I fear injuries more than most teams.

You clearly were not paying attention or didn't watch the game if you saw a Philbin coached team. Wow.
