It's ridiculous how much overreacting there was when we started 0-3...

All of a sudden we put on a show vs the bills, and we go into tonight feeling great..

is there anyone on this board who is now saying to themselves that the season is already over? There were so many people saying that it was over when we were 0-3.. even tho we had lost to INDY and SD, 2 very very good teams.

With a win tonight we're right back in contention in the AFC east... nobody can deny that, and some people need to eat some crow for being so quick to jump ship and say our team sucks even though there were people telling you that we lost close games vs some elite teams etc etc

Heck there were even some threads saying we were gonna do no better than 3-13 or even go 2-14 rofl....

It all changes with wins.. and this early in the season just getting a few wins keeps you in contention.. especially division wins. HUGE GAME TONIGHT!!@#!#@
 
it wasn't so much an over reaction as frustration. offense didn't show up against the falcons. defense didn't show up against the colts. penning hurt against the chargers. and FINALLY put a game together on both sides against the bills.
 
We should be sitting at 3-1. We blew it against Indy and Atlanta with stupid mistakes. A win tonight and we're a game out of first.
 
Are you aware of the statistics regarding 0-3 teams making the playoffs? They are intimidating to say the least. I don't think anyone over reacted at all. So far this year, we have played just well enough to not win over any competant team. The Bills are sorry, and we beat them. That makes me happy, but we have yet to show we can put it together against a good team.

What we have to look at is the bigger question about this team which is the coaching staff. This team has started out two years in a row now with the some of the same, alarming similarities, namely mental accuity, poor pass defense and ability to tackle.

There are a large number of positive aspects to this team that I am happy about, but bottom line is we have to win, which so far we have done less than more this year. If we can beat the Jets, undeniably we are back in contention in the AFC East, which is good. If we lose, however, the season is, in fact, pretty much over. Sure, we'll play more games, some of which we will lose, and, some of which we will win, but realisticly, it's over.
 
I don't think you guys were as bad as your 0-3 record BUT did you see the Bills lose at home to Cleveland yesterday? You shouldn't get too giddy about that one blowout.

Oh stop it with that garbage. A win is a win, I don't care who it was against. You jets fans were saying the same thing last year til we stepped on you up in New York to get into the playoffs.

i dont think too many people are "giddy"...we finally just saw us play good on both sides of the ball. Bills are a crappy team, regardless we showed up and came to play. Were gonna come to play tonight. Channing Crowder is gonna say the F word to the Jets offensive linemen.

Who has Ray Ray, Suggs and Ed Reed on their team? Sure as hell isn't you. You don't have a player on your defense of that caliber. I don't care if we lost to the Ravens or not. We wrecked you in your own house. AFC EAST CHAMPS!!!!

Yea you are the champs. The champs who blew their load in Week 17 and had no gas in the playoffs. Champs week 17...week 19...golf.

Thats not really an arguement considering the Pats were lucky to beat the Bills, so if your going by that logic we are thus better than the Pats because we beat the Bills by alot more than they did.

The Bills are pathetic right now, they score 3 pts against the browns at home.

Why does one good game against a bad Bills team trump the 3 other losses you have?

We don't but I don't recall Baltimore holding opposing O's to 9 PPG last year.
