First off, congrats on the huge win this past weekend. I was surprised, to say the least. The defense played a lot better then I thought they would. Well, actually, I should say that about the entire team.

As for this weekends game, I know you guys must be chomping at the bit after that horrible display of JV football by the Jets last weekend. I would be too if I were you guys. BUT, I'm not! I have every confidence that the Jets will be back to their normal for this weekend, and will win the game. I cannot say I'm not concerned about them. Remember Ray Lucas' 5 INT game? Well, Chad just had his comperable performance. The difference is that Chad has proven he can come back from a bad performance, and Herm is wonderful at getting his team back after a piss poor game like that. We'll see some good football from the Jets this weekend, I'm sure of it. I just hope it's enough.

Anyway, good luck this weekend, phishes, and may the best team named the Jets win! I'll be back after the game either way.

I anticipate a great game as well. I know that the dolphins played above expectations and the Jets performed way below expectations. If is hard to compete in a game when you turn the ball over 7 times,,,I expect the best from the jets

Chad 3 int this week

see you next week here!

What´s your score?

Dolphins 24 - 10 Jets :D

The Jets are certainly a better team then they showed last week. But they certainly have some holes on defense. I'm hoping the Miami offense can exploit these. Look for Ronnie Brown to have a solid game.

As you know Tony, throw the records out when these teams play. The unexpected usually happens!

It will be fun, I'll be there!

I may be a minority of a Fins fans but I think this is going to be a close game. Other than your turn overs last game you really didn't play that bad. The one thing that is you struggled to move the ball against the D of KC. As improved as they are they still arnt close to becoming a defensive powerhouse.

Personally I hope its a good game, but I still think that we are going to come out on top. Our D will be able to hold you to few points while we have a couple big plays against you. Good luck this weekend. GO Fins.

Quick question....how many fin fans are usually at the Mia vs. Jet games in NY?

It's nice to hear some positive talk from a Jets fan. I believe this weeks game will be hard fought to the end. The Jets will be better than they showed against KC but I also believe the Dolphins will be better (fewer penalties and fewer turnovers). With that in mind I can't help but see a Miami victory putting the Jets in an 0-2 hole to start the season and sending Miami to the top of the standings withNE (I think Buffalo will lose to the Bucs).

Nothing compared to how many Jet fans are in Miami! I say that this year you will see an uncalled for 1 Jet fan to every 3 Dolphins fans. New York and New Jersey likes to move to beautiful South Florida to infest our streets with green.

I am going to a local Quarter Deck and the Jet fans have an area reserved every week. This week is going to be the craziest one of all. GO Phins!

I can't answer that, cause I've never been to a game at the Meadowlands. However, I attend the Dolphins-Patriots game in New England every year, and the Dolphins are well represented, to say the least. Outside of last year, when we were 0-6 going into the game, there's just tons of Dolphin fans that make the New England game.

I can't wait for January 1st, always a GREAT time.

P.S. I don't know if this is going to help you at all, but I'm assuming you were trying to get an idea of the representation the Dolphins get on the road. And in New England, I can assure you that they are well supported.

Miami will continue to share the lead in the AFC East! With Buffalo though not New England.

Phins/Jets games have always been tight regardless of records. Should be another one decided by a TD or less.

i have a feeling that fiedler will play again and it wont be because of a big jets lead in 4th quarter.

One sack on Penny is all its gonna take bud. Just one clean hit. The D-Phins know Penny is having problems with his shoulder. They smell the blood. I can pretty much assure you we'll be coming for Penny hard. Blitz..blitz..BLITZ! And when Penny goes down, we get a piece of FiFi, and I don't think I even need to go there.

I'm pretty confident in us picking up our second win this Sunday. Our team is playing really tough, in your face football, thanks to one Nick Saban. Something we've been lacking for a long time. Should be a good one to watch.

Rumors of Penningtons shoulder are greatly exaggerated. There is no problem with his shoulder. He threw the ball very well on Sunday. They had just couldn't do the basics, like block, catch, tackle, or handle the ball. VERY uncharacteristic for a Herman Edwards team.

The game should be a good one. I certainly expect a better Dolphins team thenteh one we faced last year. I see an attacking defense, and an offense that gained some confidence. Unfortunately, it's going to take more then confidence to keep Ellis and Abraham off of Ferotte. The OL is the weak link on the Fins team. ALthough Denver, with that sorry transplanted Browns line, couldn't take advantage, I believe the Jets can. Ronnie Brown I expect to have some success, not the offense as a whole will not have it as easy this week as they did last week.

As some of you have said, though, it's Jets/Dolphins, and anything goes! Funny thing is that I keep using the 45-3 beating the Phins put on the Jets at the second meeting in '86 on Monday Night to illustrate how bad the Jets looked on Sunday. Man, that was ugly. I figure the Phins were pissed off about the Jets winning that classic Marino/O'Brian shootout the first meeting that year. Not sure how many of you remember that, but it was a doozy of a game. Probably still the best game I've ever seen. But I digress...

I'm looking forward to talking ball with you guys this week. I'm an admin on TheGangGreen.com, and would love to see some of you come on over there and talk about the game as well. It'll dilute all the doom and gloom that has overtaken the board. Blitzkrieg and a couple others post over there as well.
