I know getting a mud hole stomped into you by the Cardinals really blows, but the reality is they have a very good team. Barring injuries to key players they are going to win their division and go to the playoffs. Now those of you who keep ranting that BP and Cam has destroyed this team are full of it, you don't know what you are talking about, and you need to get a grip. If you really want to know who really ruined your Miami Dolphins it was Dave Wanny. If you'll look he did the same thing in Chicago. They were in the basement for years after Dave left. The same thing we are going through right now. Since Dave the new coaches have been trying to put band aids on the problem. Little fixes to make us a little competitive until the foundation finally collapsed last year. BP is the first one who has actually come in and really tried to fix the problem. Fixing this problem takes time. If you look at BP's history he was 3-12 with the Giants who really weren't very good. 8 years later when he left the were 13-3 in his final season with 2 Super Bowl wins under his belt. He took over N.E. 3 years later and went 5-11 his first season with an 0-4 start. Losses to teams like Buffalo 38-14 and the Jets 45-7. He left the Pats 4 years later at 11-5, AFC Champions. He was with NY only 3 years, but I would say that Dallas is looking real good with his players in place wouldn't you. Last year would have been his 5th year in Dallas had he stayed. All these posts about how we shouldn't have traded this guy, or we should have drafted that guy are idiotic. There isn't a coach, or GM, or owner who hasen't make a mistake. They all make bad choices. The difference between BP and the others we had is he won't try to make a bad choice look good by shoving down our throat. If a guy he signed doesn't produce he cuts the guy or lets him warm the bench. That's how a football team is run, and that's how you teach players to win. That's why BP wins wherever he goes. It just takes time.

You know, I may get crucified for this, but I'm tired of Dave Wannstedt being one of the scapegoats for this year's Dolphins. The only Wanny players left on this team are Vernon Carey and Yeremiah Bell. He has nothing to do with this Dolphins team.
I'd say Randy Mueller is responsible for this mess. Anyone? He's the genius that brought all of these clowns here.

You.............are incorrect sir! We won't get better w/ the coaches we have here. Until they either A) change their philosophies or B) quit or get fired, we will continue sucking ba**s! The worst decision making I've ever seen in the 2 games we've played. I don't care if we had 2 pro bowl DB's. They'd still get torched if you continually put them in man on man coverage all day long!
Actually he did. Bad drafts hurt for years to come. He is the reason players were either very old or very young on this team. We had no players in their prime. It's where the real problem started and the others leading up to BP didn't address.
They said the same thing about Bill his first season with the Giants. That's ok, they were wrong to.

Wannstedt threw away high pick after acquiring Ricky, Lamar Gordon, AJ Feely, etc and drafting poorly when he actually did hang on to his picks. Wanny & Co. were in control for 5 years, Mueller had one year, one draft.
Wannstedt ran the Bears into the ground, then the Phins, now Pitt.

Wow here we go again blaming EVERYTHING on Wanny. Get Real! We have had several drafts since his left, we've had several free agent signings, our salary cap situation has never looked better, but yet we still struggle. I know things take time, but I' tired of the same old Wanny excuse for everything. Ironically, two of our best players Carey and Bell were Wanny guys--let's give it a rest. Blaming Wanny is too easy. Let's share the blame with the others that are responsible as well, Saban, Cam, Huizenga and the list goes on and on.
Carey and Bell are not our best players, at least not now. If they are we should be winless. Compaired to other teams those two are servicable at best.

It's not Wanny's fault that we spend a top 10 pick on a WR who's nothing special and a top 16 pick on a DB that can't crack the starting lineup.
It's not Wanny's fault that this team is still being rebuilt four years after the team went into the tank-- and that after four drafts in which the Dolphins picked 2nd, 16th, 9th and 1st, the team still has huge question marks at QB, DB and WR.

that has EVERYTHING to do with the dolphins. If he had drafted better, we'd have about 5-10 players still left. Thats half the starters. Thats the general base for a team. Not two. (and one of them was a 7th rounder!)
Randy Mueller isn't responsible. he only had one draft to work with. Wanny had 4.
