I saw McD’s PC and I read that as a vet rest day, but who knows. I thought he was more alluding to Ramsey being the type who refuses to take days off, so that’s why he was proud of him.

Coach is proud of him for NOT practicing. If it was like pulling teeth keeping him off the practice field, there’s no way coach can keep him off the game field unless it’s bad.

I'm not buying it. He's playing on Sunday...but coach wants to play around with the jags it's fine by me...I'll believe it when it's Sunday and he's on the sidelines in street clothes

Dude fought back from an injury last year that woulda ended anybody else's season. WEEKS before even the most optimistic expectation. He's a frigging captain... salivating at the opportunity to take on his former team. Yeah, he's playing.

To be honest I'm already fed up with this, is he going to play or not play in the opener for quite a few players. For crying out loud it's the first game ok you might have one two struggling but this season it seems already that we have quite a few carrying injuries.

Whoever is on the field Sunday I'll support fully 100% but it does take my excitement away a touch

Injuries happen. Part of the game. I bet Miami's injury list is no worse than the majority league. I believe we have 4 players out that were scheduled to be contributers and most of them are expected to be back after the first month or so. Some teams have multiple starters that might be out for the year.

The malaise is superseding the excitement prior to the opener. Injuries, indifference, contract squabbles, or any combination of those, makes me queasy.
