Fight with Oakland, and other teams for

Brady Quinn and Troy Smith.

We need a QB. Quit talking about Brees. Hes gone that in the past, too late, etc.

its time to win this game...enough of you trolls talking negative especially with us driving.

I think Joe Thomas probably helps us more we dont really need a QB badly enough to use a top pick on one imo. Though if we did take Quinn it'd be really hard for me to complain :)

If he did take a QB in the 1st i would not be mad by any means. If we don't and we take Joe Thomas i would hope that we would draft Drew Stanton or Tyler Palko in the 3rd. The reason i think Saban might take a hard look at Stanton might be because of his connection to Michigan State. He would be able to look really hard at Stanton.

I want Joe Thomas really.

As for fighting for Troy Smith, I don't think we have to fight for him. Many sites and scouts have both Drew Stanton and Trent Edwards ranked ahead of him.

Don't take my sig the wrong way...I LIKE Troy Smith, and wouldn't mind him on the team, but only if it came in like the 3rd round. Which is doubtful.

I haven't heard anything about Joe Thomas....couldn't we draft Adrian Peterson and then trade him for an All-Pro LT that is already a proven commodity in the NFL? I would think that would be a safer route.

Thoughts???

If I remember correctly, Adrian Peterson said he would come out of college early if he didn't get hurt. So now, it's not a guarantee he declares.

As for Joe Thomas, he's a BIG OT with a mean streak, something this OL needs.

You're taking a pretty huge risk if you cant trade him. RBs are easier to find than all pro LT also, I doubt such a trade would ever happen.

True. It's not easy to come by a franchise LT.

Yeah, teams don't trade their stud OL players. They're so hard to come by now a days. I mean look at all of the poor OL in the league this year.
