Love this guy's breakdown.
Love this guy's breakdown.
I keep looking at this play and keep wondering if Waddle really had to jump for that ball...Not hard to nitpick 20 yard completions when a better ball is a maybe a long TD. There is one defender in the box formed from the 35 yard line and right hash to the back of the end zone on the left side. Just one. Lead Waddle and he has one guy to beat for a TD.

If Tua hits that and the Waddle over the top route that is mentioned, it is a completely different game. IMO, Tua normally hits both of those so still much to be encouraged about.
Its close to eye level... Pass could have been much better but I also think Waddle left his feet awkwardly for this ball.Waddle goes way up for the ball and still catches it over his head.

Yup me too. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that as a person I like him better than Danny Boy! He's just a really excellent human being and a hell of a young QB in this league! I also think that now most opposing players are gonna cut him a break in terms of violent hits. Not to bank on it - especially against arch rivals and definite asshole types but just generally. TUA! Also, I am completely happy that we got Tua instead of Herbert. Betcha time will tell on this too. I want Superbowl(s) - I'm sixty ****ing three and have been cheering for the Dolphins since 1970!!!When it’s all said and done, Tua may be one of my favorite Fins players ever. The guy has dealt with ALOT of adversity, AND injuries, but stayed humble the whole way. The guy puts in the work, he’s a class act, and he loves to play.
Yeah. I think it’s both. Waddle may have jumped too soon, but it was also bad ball placement. If Tua leads him on that throw, it’s a TD.Its close to eye level... Pass could have been much better but I also think Waddle left his feet awkwardly for this ball.
It was really the worst game he played all season. There was still a lot to like, but he wasn’t as sharp as we’ve seen him.Tua was rusty and hence some of his passes were off.....not worried about it because Tua is normally very accurate so yes, he was rusty
i got frustrated with him Sunday night but how could you not root for him. Just wish he’d stop with the dumb desperation throws. It’s something I didn’t think he’d have a problem with because he’s considered a pretty bright guyWhen it’s all said and done, Tua may be one of my favorite Fins players ever. Well, he really had to jump and turn back for the ball. A better ball is a TD, IMO. Normally Tua hits this. Its close to eye level... Pass could have been much better but I also think Waddle left his feet awkwardly for this ball.
