all I'm saying is Josh Allen is a great QB (most of the time). He will have success against our defense. That's not a stretch to say. You're just arguing for the sake of arguing lol

Our offense should score more than their offense though. I just dont trust our defense quite yet

Not from where I'm sitting, love getting some of these road games out of the way early. After Buffalo this weekend we only have 4 true road games the rest of the year. Getting LA in week one was helpful, taking the Pats and hopefully Bills out in good weather as well. After this weekend we're going to be seeing an awful lot of hard rock stadium and that's got to help our chances for the division and overall seeding.

No it was fine, some just want unabridged homerism or the lemming cries start. Allen has typically played very well against us for sure and the Bills record over the last 5 years backs that up. We did play three very close games against them last year, all classics really, and I think we are much better now. Going into this year we thought year 2 in McD's system would be big improvement all by itself before even getting to roster additions and that certainly seems the case. It looks like we now have innumerable ways to attack a defense and we have gotten precise in doing that with motion and avoiding a lot of the penalties we saw last year. Now consider additions like Achane and Berrios and just a stronger, quicker and healthy Tua, this offense is legit, beyond legit right now.

I agree the defense still needs to improve but we are early in Fangio's system and we are at least keeping points off the board for the most part excepting game 1. Buffalo will be a different animal but that's why this game sets up as the marquee game of the season so far. Should be another epic battle and a win could really set us on the path to take this division for the first time in a long time and get some playoff games at home. You're right to be concerned with playing Buffalo in Buffalo, they are very solid in every phase, top 5 or so team in the league, I do think this is the year we can get it done up there though. Bills will put up some points but we need timely stops or turnovers like we have been getting, that and it would be nice to have a solid special teams outing, no missing kicks, giving up big returns, etc.

Well stated! 100% agreed.

Ultimately I see this as a potential Chargers game all over again a la a shootout/runout (?) but biggest difference of course being that Bills defense is worlds better than Chargers. We have a running game though which we didn't utilize at all in LA. It should be an amazing game. We win this or even keep it close and I feel that all the demons from our past are gone. A game in which we get dismantled would be an absolute gut punch.

He`s 1 and 1 vs McD and the fins with there starting QB thats all that matters . who cares about the other 7 games against 1 a QB that belonged on the practice squad and the rest against wannabee coaches and coordinators . This team is different
 
I haven't moved on. The big question will be which game do I want to watch for the seventh time... the Dolphins vs Broncos or the Dolphins vs the Chargers?

That was the defenses first game lol did you seriously expect them to come out and be a top 5 Defense first game . Their getting better each game and honestly i dont think Jills O is better then the chargers . I`d take Ekeler over anyone on the Jills O including Allen . No way there running against us like the chargers did

Dismantling a baseless, nonsensical argument like you proposed isn't hypothetical and doesn't need to be impressive. It just needed to be right, and that was certainly the case here.

Resorting to your modified "strawman" response required even less "knowhow" and more "doubling down on being dumb" then most posts I have read.

The good news is that tomorrow is a new day, and with luck it will be full of admiration for the performance of my favorite team, the Front Office, the Coaching Staff. Last, but not least, I hope posters will recognize the outstanding performance of all our players, demonstrating a level of hard work, efficient play and a level of Player depth I doubt many posters realized was there.
