What makes it worse is that there was no adjustment by the coaches to correct this problem. C'mon Henne get yoru head out of your a$$!

took the words right out of my mouth. it is beyond sickening. i feel that every other play is a ball batted down at the line of scrimmage. it makes me sick. its not just this year, its every freaking year.

i have never seen a team have as many balls batted down at the line of scrimmage as the miami dolphins.

I was told it happens when the Oline protection is not getting their hands down. Im not a coach, but didnt quite understand what the person meant by saying this...

Bad line play and staring down WRs, makes it easy to time jumps. Don't foretell the pump fake for christ sake Dalton was doing it all day long!

When the offensive line is in the backfield after 2 seconds...

You people watch the games?

I think it is more the product of bad line play. However, when you have a reputation of staring down wideouts, of course your are going to be coached to get your arms up in the passing lanes. All the d-lineman have to do is watch Henne's eyes.

This actually happens when the d line gets a good push up front. Henne takes a 3 to 5 step drop. It's the lines responsibility to create passing lanes and prevent the D line from getting the push into Henne's spot to throw.

It happens when you constantly quick pass, Miami's drops are too predictable. Also other posters would be correct in that O linemen need to get the d linemens hands down... Texans were testing Henne's clock. No need to blitz when he is automatically going to throw the ball away quickly.

If anyone remembers last season, Cleveland specifically said after they win that they knew Henne had a lot of balls tipped and that they focused on batting balls down/up...Big reason Miami lost that game.

Henne has no awarewness. He needs to sidestep, pump fake, or step up into a throwing lane. Whoever said its the lines job to open throwing lanes is clueless. Its on the QB to find the lanes.

Yep look at Chicago...probably the worst O-line in the league yet Cutler isn't having a lot of balls batted down.
