I think we will see alot of Folsom. Definitely on special teams . . . and will get some snaps at LB also. He has a golden opportunity in front of him to leave an impression going into the offseason that he can be an answer at ILB, if just as quality depth.

I know I heard where Folsom said he weighed around 235 pounds so he still needs to add another 10 pounds of muscle and strength

Well I'm sure he'll get there. I remember when we got Walden he was low 230's, now he is up around 250.

If Ricky is going to sit, can't they just put him on IR and sign Sheets to the active roster? (the only killer would be if we did that and miraculously made the playoffs :koolbang:)
I hate to break this to you, but Crowder is terrible...
Both safeties have more tackles than Channing. Even Akin has more tackles, now how sad is that?

I beg to differ, crowder isnt a great line backer..but he is definately average to above average. The scheme we play isnt designed for middle linebackers to jump out at you in the big play department... To see how much Crowder is worth in our defense just look what happens when he isnt in there our defense doesnt even play. I agree someone needs to step up and usual someone does but you cant tell me crowder isnt missed. Ok so Crowder is terrible to you what are our options. Crowder is playing his 3rd year as a middle ILB. Tell me, you think a rookie is gonna come in and be the play caller for our defense immediately... I dont even think a free agent can come in and make an immediate impact. I think the problem is we dont have a proper 2nd string to spell crowder...either that or we need to spell crowder if you really wanna upgrade..your only as good as your weakest link. Torbor is ok but he isnt crowder. Akin...ehhh next.... no serious we do need to draft a young ilb but he would still spell crowder..trust me crowder isnt jumping out at you right now because of the whole big play thing... you gotta understand the system and the defense..maybe if we thrash paul p. things would be different. You cant really blame our defense on the players...paul p sometimes just pisses me off with his scheme.
