Looks like a fine list to me.

Any specific reason for your ranking of Kwity Paye in the bottom range of your top 40?

For me, he fits less well but not as well as the other two. All three have special traits and flashed special, but none put together the kind of resume I'd want at 18, particularly when this D is so good at finding value in tweener DE's.

Forgot to mention thanks for this, it's nice to get a different perspective. Interesting comments, I like his story obviously, his perceived drive/work ethic and was hoping he could develop his pass rush skills some more with the assumption he's a great plug and play run defender. Is Jenkins your ideal pick for 18?

My pleasure 🍻 if Miami drafts Paye, he certainly has the talent to make good on the pick at 18. It's not a Charles Harris situation or anything. Based on what I've seen, I think his range of outcomes for the situation in Miami is most likely to pay off a pick in the 21-40 range. His combination of speed, agility, and strength gives him a dramatic ceiling, but more likely than not, I think he's a guy who is pretty good and makes the occasional Wow play.

I'd also emphasize that the D values Edges who are versatile and do their jobs over spending extra for high-end Edges. So, if Miami goes DE at 18, they must love him.
