J-Off's 2025 TE's | FinHeaven - Miami Dolphins Forums
Funny it was all Warren and nothing else for awhile and now he is not flavour of the day anymore? DJ will be upset 😂

If he runs in the 4.5's and tests amazingly in general, I'll bump him up to Top 20 (and Top 40 is still really high for a TE), but I think some people are being a little dismissive of legit concerns with his projection.

I like Hawes as well but I would hope to get him later than R4.

He is going to give you next to nothing as a receiver.

Love his run blocking and would be happy to deploy him in that role.
Agree. Miami's tight end room is fairly depleted at the moment. Have to think the Dolphins draft a couple. Probably both late.

Jackson Hawes would be nice late for his blocking ability. Maybe 4th round?

Conyers at 98 would be preferable to me, but Hawes somewhere on Day 3 would work. While he's not a polished receiver, he is hard to tackle, so he'd give you that over what Miami has fielded in recent years at Y.

Several that I like, even later on day 3 and into UDFA territory. Under the radar guys like Bartholomew, Briningtool, Fidone and Yurosek could be decent prospect. Even Nesbit from UNC. He's not my top guy, or even my favorite sleeper, but Fidone just seems like McDaniel's type. Plus he's a later day 3 option, someone they could also stash on the PS if they wish.

Was waiting for Yurosek to test, and he did well. Will probably slot him with Hawes.

Nesbit isn't for me. Don't see anything to hang my hat on.

Nesbit isn't an inline te for sure. I see him as a little lesser verson of Gadsden II. Teams that have intrest in Gadsden and miss out him might consider someone like Nesbit as an option.

Idk man. 4.88 40 is slow for a big, blocking TE. For a sub-240 receiving TE, it's a non-starter for me.

This is tough for Miami, as far as where you upgrade at tight end. I love Warren, but he might be gone before 13 anyway.

Arroyo and Taylor are probably 2nd rounders, likely too early for the Dolphins. Arroyo could be dynamic. A little bit like Jonu Smith.

I view Gadsden as a receiver, but I really like his skill set for Miami. He could work late 3rd. Hawes is interesting. More of a blocker.
