Fanin is such an odd prospect.

His production was off the charts, and he played well against top competition putting up numbers against Penn ST, A&M and Arkansas.

His Combine was solid if unspectacular but he met any thresholds you needed to.

But when you watch him play he moves oddly and looks uncoordinated at times, especially laterally.

While it is odd it does not seem to hinder him on the field and I expect him to be a very productive pass catcher in the NFL.

The consensus board has him in early R3 but I would not surprised to see him sneak into R2.

He looks awkward because he's duck-footed. He's really coordinated and has outstanding contact balance, so it looks ugly, but it doesn't hurt his game. His long speed is the biggest issue, but it's not terrible for his size, and his skill (especially for such a young player) is top-notch. He's also a great blocker in space, which is where you'll want him imo.

There’s something about the way Fannin moves that reminds me of Aaron Hernandez. If the Fins took him with one of their 4 picks between 116-155 I would be happy
He likely goes on Day 2.

He piled up big numbers against the big boys when he got the chance.

He will be a productive pass catching TE no doubt.
