The Jaguars took a pounding in the trenches last preseason when they played at Miami.

Jaguars coach Jack Del Rio believes that set the tone for the season for both teams.

“They’ve got some physical guys there, and that really was the foundation for their success offensively and defensively [last year],” Del Rio said. “I thought it started against us here in Jacksonville last year.”

I would prefer to see our rookie DBs go against a more experienced receiving corps. I believe the Jags are going with 3 rookies this year. Terry Holt just isn't the same.. but he likely has some veteran savvy..

Their defensive line is a work in progress, having switched to the 3-4 this year with no real Nose Tackle. We should be able to run on them all day.

I think playing the jags first would be great if their still full of problems...let our guys win this one, build up some confidence and go back in to practices hungry and ready to keep on doing the same...

well i think if any domination will be done it will be by the 2nd and 3rd team guys our starters will only play a quarter not saying they wont or couldnt dominate they prob will but i think the guys to keep an eye on are people like Gardner, Thomas (if he is allowed to play) Berger and other backups....QUALITY depth along the O-line is crucial if we can run 7-8+ guys who can play the line we could be up there in TOP and Offense
