We will definitely need a TE sometime soon. Butt might not be full ready in 2017 "but" should be ready towards the end of the season or 2018. If we go dead 1st round and guard in the second could Butt be a good pick in the third considering he is a first round talent.

All for taking him, but that seems high. We need to multiple good players on D

I think he can be had in the 5th. He is going to sit out his rookie year which drops him (medical reasons)

bet he goes before the 5th. He's saying (take it for what its worth) that he'll be ready to play in mid July. Late 3rd sounds about right for when someone will grab him

I'm more excited to see us draft people who can shut down TEs and not a TE. Vet TEs are relatively cheap and you know what you're getting. The last few years of mediocre play from hyped up TEs in the draft has me gun shy.

Great input........
He is being mentioned as a second round pick. That's why I said 3rd round. I think Julious will be a bust, but may provide a good mentor to a rookie TE.

I'm sorry you asked a yes or no question

I answered it

There's so many great TE's in this draft, I would love to come away with one.

But we have too many needs on defense. :(

If we go dead that early it's not going to matter who we draft

Negative...I would give Sidney Jones a whirl with our first comp pick though.
