Ummm, Peppers plays DE and Jake plays LT, how does Peppers not going make it possible for Jake to go?? That just makes no sense to me.


Oh OK, it's JASON PETERS, not Julius Peppers. You wrote Julius Peters, not Jason Peters and I read it too quickly and was thinking Julius Peppers.

Botom Line that's pretty damn sweet, Jake should have been there anyways, Peters was a worthless POS this year and had no business going to the Pro Bowl, IMO Jake is getting what he should have gotten from the start Frikin awesome!!!!!!

Yea I was going to note the error in the name. I dont even know how that guy got a pro bowl bid to begin with. That guy sucked this year.
 
he shoudl have been put in initially,but late is certainly better than never,but Peters didnt deserve to go in the first place,and neither does Joe Thomas,but thats another story...
 
Farve will probably opt out as well, but Chad is second to get the nod not first.
 
I had a feeling this was going to happen. Peters missed the last game of the year with an injury and I didn't think a guy like him who wants a new deal bad would risk further injury playing in the Pro Bowl.

This is a well deserved honor for Jake. He really should have made it when the original rosters were released.

How great is it that our first round pick made the Pro Bowl in his first year? This is amazing. :up:
 
whens the last time the first overall pick made the pro bowl in his rookie season?

It covers a multitude of areas that we should feel good about Scouting, coaching, FO many different areas of goodness from this kid making the pro bowl. Lets hope this is the first of the next 12.

Yeah, too bad about Chad..he's getting screwed IMO.

As far as Bretta's concerned, although recently showing no interest in participating , I'm betting he'll be there this year, What an opportunity for a truly selfish drama queen egomaniac to strut her stuff!(Myles, where's your "It's all about ME" Brett graphic?).
