If it hadn't been for Henne coming up clutch on the last drive, Jake Grove could have cost us big time. With the dolphins driving and on the Jet's 35 Jake was flagged for a false start and put us in a first and fifteen. To many times, including against the Colts and Chargers, the dolphins seem to crumble when put into first and long situations. Then Chad came through with arguably his best pass of the night. A floater to Camarillo in the flats for a 14 yard gain and a new set of downs. I guess I am just not used to coming up big in a pinch, hopefully thats a sign of good things to come and we can carry some of this momentum through the bye week.

Wow. His first false start in 5 weeks playing against a top 3 NT in the league. I guess we should just cut this bum.

He is allowed that after handling jenkins all game.
Im not saying its ok but we finally have a QB that when we have 1st and 15 or 1st and 20 im not saying well this is a wasted drive.
Grove played great even when you take the false start and holding call into account.

Lol. Jake Grove would have cost us the game by not being in it. He played outstanding.

So far he has been one hell of a FA signing. He didnt cost us because we won.

I think he has been one of most impressive players so far this season. Its very harsh to bust his balls about one false start.

I don't think jake is the problem but we have been getting alot of crap penalties at bad times

YOU: Guess what almost happened, guess who almost cost us?

ME: UH NOTHING cause you said almost :hi5:

I wouldn't get on him too hard for that. He manhandled Jenkins all night and our O-line looked amazing. Luckily it didn't hurt us any, but the Grove signing is starting to look like an A+

I can't believe there are people here actually talking about any player on the offensive line "almost costing us". The o-line played OUTSTANDING last night.

exactly..... 1 false start penalty is to the least of my concern. Yes it was at a bad time but the guy has been solid all year, and to be honest with you, I wasn't too excited about the signing after watching him oakland, but I was wrong. The O-line has been beastin lately and if they keep it up we're gonna be tough to beat

Don't you think your going alittle far saying he manhandled jenkins not saying he didn't play well but jenkins won his share

He almost cost the Dolphins the game? WOW!

Out of 64 total plays...you are worrying about one...Geez.

Where was Kris Jenkins....thats what you should be saying. He's 370 and Grove neutralized him all game....imagine if the Dolphins still had Satele at center.
