Jake Long #1 Henne #32

I dont know but if we take Jake with the first pick, i think we take Defense with the 2a. especially if theres a stud CB available.
 
Henne may slip to our 2b selection. Also Brian Brohm is slipping on some draft boards and they are projecting him to go in the second so that means Henne might slip.
 
Henne isn't worth the 32nd pick.
 
At 2a expect us to take a CB like Flowers or Cason or a WR like Hardy if we draft Jake Long at 1. We might look at a QB at 2b, but with all the holes we have I see us picking up another position of need.
 
How many personal threads are you going to make? The draft forum is for draft related items...not what I or you may think should be done.
 
Just saying it would be neat if 2 players from the same team in college were drafted by the same team in the nfl and played an important roles on that team. It would be rare to play all of college and in the nfl with a guy being on your same team all those years.

Yes..perhaps it would be nice...but it's not a draft related...the're other forums to write that stuff in.
 
and crable in the third and mike hart in the fourth and adrian arrington etc

lets just draft everyone from the team that lost to a DII school

Agreed. And if those were our first 2 picks, I would not be very happy at all! I don't see how reaching for Henne at #32, when we already took one around the same area last year, makes us any better as a football team. Especially since I don't see Henne being any better than Beck, if at all.

If we take Jake at #1, we better get Quentin Groves at #32. Unless there is a stud CB available
 
With all the holes to fill I think its hard to justify taking a QB in the 2nd Round especially if they like Beck at all. Plus any QB taken in this years draft isnt going to make impact this season.
 
I personally think Henne will be gone by then.

And I don't think the arguement shouldn't be whether or not Long at LT is a first over all pick it should be what do we need most!
