just a little note to let all you guys know that are boy is getting some well deserved props and this week will be a very intriguing considering that he'll be matched up vs mario williams

Yea, really though to get noticed when you're a lineman, but he was definetely one of the reasons why we won. That Oline was just awesome!

Agreed. The one sack Chad took against the Chargers was not really a sack created by San Diego's defense. It looked as though Chad was turning around and kinda got tripped up. So if you take that away, Chad has had tons of time and has been almost untouched back there!

Jake is showing how fast he can develop as a player and it looks as though weve got ourselves a pro bowl LT for a long time to come!

Long getting recognition. So glad we didnt draft a "robert galloway" if you know what I mean.

stop the "hes a RT". the guys a LT , getting better game by game. if you dont see the improvement your not really looking

Where are all the muppets that were all over the place telling everyone that he is going to be the next Robert Gallary?

Who cares what Marshall thinks...hopefully all of our players never read these sites and tabloids and keep focused the next game.

Being life long Hawkeye fan, as great as Gallery was at Iowa he was no Jake Long. I honestly don't think Gallery has much of a chance to succeed in the NFL, but he isn't in Jake Long's league. Jake has played LT a lot longer then Gallery and Jake is all technique. Robert Gallery was great in college but Iowa is zone blocking team a lot like the Denver Bronco's. Robert has struggled with the change in the NFL and the fact that he was being moved all the time and learning from a lot of different OL coaches early in his career. This year he has played much better and feel he is starting to turn the corner. Never had a doubt about Jake Long, dude is scary good and still learning. Future is bright for Miami's oline for the first time in a long time. Penny had all day to throw and for once don't hold my breath when the QB drops back like years past. Awesome to see the improvement and game planning by the staff. You can definately see the players are buying into the system unlike like the last couple of years. They are having fun.
