Jake Long quote about playing for the dolphins!

I don't think it's such a good idea to admit that he holds in an interview. I mean, most linemen hold often, it's not unusual, but to admit it. I hope no NFL officials see that interview. lol.

But the NFl's definition of holding is you can hold as long as your arms do not come outside of your body or past your shoulder area. That is what Jake was talking about. Keeping the holding interior so you cannot see it. That essentially is what is acceptable to officials. So I dont see your point whatsoever.

I dont know, if money is not everything to ya, then 9.5 mil per season is not a bad deal at all. Considering most all of the left tackles in the league will not have that. In a sense, it would make Jake look greedy. I dont think that is his character.
 
Although he said he didnt wanna play for the phins recently I'm sure it was prolly the antics of his agent and the contract terms...as we can see from the interview he liked the idea of playing here....Id take the bad comments just as leverage on the contract not really a personal feeling on his part
 
This is a pointless post. We saw this back in February but now we know the truth. He clarified it more recently by saying that going #1 overall would be the honor, not playng for the Dolphins specifically.
