Jake Scott, Shane Olivea & Jacob Bell can we please take a look at one of these guys

I know there are reports of us be interested in Jason Fabini, but I said I would love for us to sign Jacob Bell and Smiley. Now that Smiley is signed and this whole Soap Opera with Pace is over I hope Parcells and Ireland snag another O-line and D-line. I know according to Bommer Marques Douglas might sign the guy is 3-4 DL from the 49ers. Now, I dont know why but a guy like Jake Scoot who is 6'9 295 would be an awesome Guard for us and Shane could really help at RT. Can wait to see what our next moves our. Im sure we will have alot of news today at 7 on NFL Network
 
No to Olivea. There is a reason they cut him despite giving him a nice contract extension in 2006.

Besides Carey will be moved there once they draft a LT.

The only knock on Olivea is I think he has Kronik back problems, so you might have a point. Now, How about Bell or Jake Scott

Something most be wrong with the guy to last this long, Also Hadnot has visited the Texans and the Browns in neither has picked him up. There is an article about him being sad Houston didn't sign him .

"I'm going to take this visit and see how Cleveland feels about me," Hadnot told the Chronicle. "I'm disappointed [about not reaching a deal with Houston], but it's part of the business."

I think it depends on how much money he's looking for! If he's looking for an Alan Faneca deal it won't happen but if we could get him in the range of Justin Smiley (maybe a bit more) that would be awesome!

he's 6'5 not 6'9....that would be crazy to have 6'9 guard lol
 
1. History shows you dont sign Colts linemen. Ask Rick Demulling.

2. Bell doesnt have Parcells size. He is only 299.

I would be interested in bringing in Olivea for a look.
 
Jacob Bell OG

I would be happy if we signed one more offensive lineman and i hope it is Jacob Bell. He would play as our LG and then with us drafting a OT either in the first or the second round our line would be beastly. I havent head of many teams looking at him and he is way underrated.

LT (draft).....Bell....Satele......Smiley.....Carey


Thats a though line and would really help John Beck out and Ronnie Brown too.

I wouldn't mind us signing Javon Walker too or us drafting one.

I think we should consider Jake Long (range of 1-3 draft picks), Jeff Otah Chris Williams or Sam Baker (Mid to late first) Gosder Cherlius in the second are OT that i am looking at.
 
Jake Sott i would choose out of the three....he was solid for Peyton Mannings LG blind side :]

That is the same thing they were saying about Smiley before we signed him, and he could always gain weight. BTW the guy is 6'4 and one heck of an OL
 
I think Miami can get Hadnot with a home-town discount because everything I have read he seems very disappointed he isn't going to call Miami home. He wishes he could stay here and LG is still open but right him coming is very unlikely.
