Maybe they were trying to see if we could get a guard in the draft...well it didnt happen. Do you all think we sign him now? Replacing Carey/Colombia with Martin/Scott would be sweet and maybe a top 10 o-line? Worse to first!
 
right before the draft ben volin said Ireland was going to put off the scott decision until after the draft and we didnt take any guards so it is possible we still sign him. Can you imagine this OL?

LT-Long, LG-Icognito, C-Pouncey, RG-Scott, RT-Martin, talk about dirty!!!!

Would be amazing to have and if tannehill starts it would least take some pressure off
 
Incognito is a terrible guard. He doesn't fit this new scheme -zone blocking at all. He is a better center. He should be moved-switch position ith pouncy.

i would put jerry instead of incognito
 
I would like Scott very much. I've been a fan of his (I live in Indiana and watch the Colts games as well). I would also like to see Bell re-signed at a reduced price for a year or two, and ofcourse Jake Long and Wake re-signed. That would be a great end to a decent off-season.

I think it's going to be hard to re-sign Long and Wake until we let some dead money fall of our books after this season. Sucks, but I kinda expect both of those guys to be un-signed until the dead money rolls off.
 
I was thinking about the exact same thing. As the draft picks were unfolding and Miami didn't pick any guards, I was thinking that Jake Scott might be a Dolphin soon after the draft. I recall Miami saying they'd consider signing him depending on what happened in the draft, and I thought I read that Scott was very interested in signing w/ Miami. If we sign him, I'd be feeling really good about our O-line!

Why do so many of you people talk as if some of these "college boys" are "money-in-the-bank"? They AREN'T, especially the UDFAs. There's a reason why they weren't drafted.

what r u talking about? what college guy went undrafted? jake scott is like a 7 year vet, and ranked in the top ten in guards last year. Martin was our second round pick and was projected to be a 1st rounder and has good skill and talent. He is no stud just yet but should be miles ahead of columbo.

Who on that list is an UDFA? Jake Scott has been a solid player in the NFL for a while
