He's a very optimistic sort of guy, so it's tough to know if this is significant, but I was particularly intrigued with his comments about the new kickoff rule changes and how easy it is to see what's going on now with the coverage and blocking from his vantage point. He says it's easy to pick out the hole and run right through it.

If he's not just blowing smoke, get ready for some more of those long touchdowns.

Very happy about that return but we have work to do with our cover teams. They ran one back on us too.

When I looked at it, it sort of looked to me like Tanner McEvoy had gotten out of his lane on that one. He literally just got here a week before the game, so you could expect something like that out of him I think.

I suppose the argument could be made that special teams is special teams and you shouldn't have that screw up no matter which team you're on but I'm not sure how realistic that is.

I guess Darren Rizzi has known Tanner since he was in grade school so I'm sure he's gotten on him about it.
