Jakeem Grant on the bubble?

I personally will be shocked if he is cut...but I bring this up because Joe Rose & Co. Spent considerable time on the subject during the Tennessee game.

They felt his diminished playing time meant he was in not in a good position. I felt just the opposite...that it meant they liked what they saw...and didn't want to get him banged up for the season, and spend the reps looking at other players.

Anybody else hear this last night?
 
His diminished playing time more likely indicates he's not only safe, but they have plans for him.

Think about it, after the way he's flashed consistently in practice, and then flashed in his limited opportunities in the preseason? The guy from Texas Tech, who apparently came well recommended by Adam Gase's friend Kilff Kingsbury?

Again...I have been excited about this speedster since he was drafted...just really caught me off guard hearing Joe Rose and Jason Taylor talking so negatively about what his lack of snaps means.

Thats the way I saw it...really kinda upset me hearing them...did no one else hear it?

I'll make you a bet. If Jakeem Grant is not on the 53 man roster after the cut down deadline, I will change my screen name to "Incredibly Stupid Moron" and keep it that way for one year.
 
Protecting him. Definitely. Not worth risking him in that last pre- season game when he's already a shoe in.

if jakeem grant is not on the 53 adam gase is the incredibly stupid moron, not you.
 
I'll say that Grant didn't look as good as I hoped on KR and better than I expected on PR. Wouldn't be shocked to see Drake take over the KR duties.

Lol...I'll join you. Because I'll have to seriously start questioning my evaluation skills.

They got him cheap...so I can't see keeping a Griff Whalen over him.

And while I like Kenyan Drake...relying on his durability as kick returner is a mistake.
 
Ireland and philbin are no longer running the team so Grant is on the team
