There is absolutely no reason he should still be taking up an NFL roster spot. The blown assignment last night was the final straw. Play Lippett to see what you have in him. It is a win-win situation. If he plays well, you have CB for the future, and if he doesn't, it potentially gives you a higher pick in the draft. Just stop trotting out players that have no future with this team!

No doubt they need to make CB their first priority in the draft. MLB second and OL 3rd.

Same as every year, basically lol

Dion Jordan, Jamar Taylor, Dallas Thomas, Will Davis............first 3 rounds of 2013. All complete wastes.

Remember when we had 1 1st, 2 2nds and 2 3rds and we were all pumped because the draft was sooooooo deep that year. We were like "no way Ireland can f*ck this up!"

Yea.......well he did. SMFH.

Damn it hurts my eyes, heart, and brain just looking at it. Our top 4 picks that year all suck balls

i would wait till after the season to cut him. He keeps playing bad=team loses=top 10 pick in draft. Win-win

Damn!! This really hit home!!

Anyone catch Gruden call him Jamar Fletcher when he first checked into the game? Note to the FO: don't draft anymore CBs named "Jamar".

Amazing post on info from the 2013 draft, absolutely no one that has made this team better, that is almost impossible to do, but yet a new low by the dolphin organization……….they are a total embarrassment………unfortunately the shell of a team that have is years away from competing or being complete. They need a starting safety immediately, alone with two new corners, definitely a middle linebacker and at least another starting line backer, they need a new nose tackle over mitchell, 6 players on defense………..on offense, two new guards, one new swing tackle, a starting caliber tight end 3 to 4 new players……Do you have any confidence in this front office to be able to check off and fill all these needs between the draft and FA………….

It's amazing to me the degree to which he ****ed up. With all he had going for him that is the worst draft in the history of our franchise.

plus we dumped Dansby and Burnett for Wheeler and Ellerbe. Amazing that Dansby is still scoring TDs and getting sacks years later.

Thanks for bringing this up. When Dansby was cut, I was floored. Absolutely floored. He had been the best coverage linebacker we had seen in years, and he was a leader. In the end? Sorry, Philbin doesn't like your attitude. Adios.

Philbin had run ins with several talented players who managed to go on and see great success elsewhere. Sean Smith, Karlos Dansby, and Vontae Davis. He ran off Jake Long. He ran off every member of that circle of trust that team had established. And guess where most of our holes are? Cornerback, linebacker, and offensive line. Joe Philbin came into the organization with his shortcomings as an alpha male and set back the Miami Dolphins 5 years in doing so.
