Hey I'm a new poster on these boards but I have been a long time user of the Finheaven website. I haven't seen too many people starting any threads about James Hardy. Wouldn't a guy like this seem to be the perfect receiver to put opposite Ginn? I mean, most of the posters on the board seem to be suggesting Roy Williams in a trade or Jerry Porter in Free Agency, but don't you guys think ti is time we hold onto our picks and bring in some talent that we can develop? I think having Hardy opposite Ginn would give us a young 1-2 punch of a speedy, deep threat in Ginn, and a reliable red zone target and possession receiver in Hardy. What better a target to have with a young quarterback such as John Beck than a receiver who tops out at 6'5, 6'6? Now, my question is, do you all think that he will be available with the 32nd pick? And, assuming we take Chris Long #1 overall which I hope we do, would you prefer Hardy, or someone such as Dan Connor who could still be available? I would probably take either one, because I think both have the potential to become great pros, but for some reason James Hardy seems like he would be an outstanding pickup for this franchise, and as I said before, would give us a great young receiving core. Give me some of your input, as I would like to see what fellow fans think .

james hardy looks like he's gonna be a sick receiver and i would love to have him and i think he is 6'7 btw. that guy us huge! he would definitely help our offense because the only good receiver we have right now is Ginn.

James Hardy is huge. I mean freaking huge. While I think he'll be there at 32, I'm not convinced we'll take him. I'd love to have a guy with his physical attributes at WR for the Dolphins, but I don't know if we can swing him or not with all of the needs on the team.

I agree...The only problem, and most people wouldn't consider it a problem at all, would be if both he and Dan Connor are on the board at the 32nd pick. I personally would think that Parcells would go with Hardy, mostly because Connor would not typically fit into the 3-4 defense. Hell, after the past few drafts, here is hoping we get at least one of the two if they are on the board when our second pick rolls around because I'm sick of seeing players we're expected to take and who the fans love get passed over for a no namer. Cough, Eddie Moore, cough. Hahaha hopefully Parcells and Ireland will buck that trend.

With that said, I would hope Parcells would consider going with the BPA at that point. There are an innumerable amount of players who end up slipping into the top of the second round who end up becoming good players. Karlos Dansby, Anquan Boldin, Demeco Ryans etc. I think that is a spot where we can most likely go with the BPA, and then address a need with our second second rounder.

I played high school football against Hardy for four years and i gotta tell you the sky is the limit for this guy. He always concentrated more on basketball and actually won the 3A state title in basketball pretty much all by himself, but the more this guy concentrates on football the better he is going to be. He would be a steal in the second round. But i gotta agree and say that i really dont see us takin him even though that would be a great pick up for us.

James Hardy at # 32 would be great....if he is not there then Fred Davis, TE, USC, or a top CB like Rogers-Cromartie. Depends who is still on the board.

I would love hardy as well at 32

1- Chris Long
2a- James Hardy
2b- Brandon flowers

if hes there i would love to take him but i have a feelin he gonna get himself into the late first round
