And with Miami Dolphins wideout Jarvis Landry among the league leaders in receptions, we decided to take a look at him and nine other superstars (listed alphabetically) at that position.

Jarvis Landry, Miami Dolphins

Jarvis Landry has only played two-plus seasons in the league, but the LSU alum has quickly established himself as one of the best slot receivers in football. Landry, who posted his first 1,000-yard season last year, caught 110 passes for 1,157 yards, up from the 84 receptions and 758 yards he amassed in his rookie year. Last season, Landry was targeted 166 times, well up from his 112 in 2014. With continued consistency and a steady diet of targets for the Dolphins’ top receiving option, Landry should remain among the best slot receivers in the NFL for some time. So far this season: 41 receptions, 494 yards, 1 TD

Some guys just stand out from the rest.
He is one of the best players in the NFL

Shame he doesn't get in the endzone more.

So true. He's on pace for 109 catches, 1,315 yards, and 2 td's lol

I love what he contributes, but his lack of scoring is interesting. I'd like to know how many red zone targets he's gotten this year. It always seems like he needs to break 40 yards and 12 ankles to get in the end zone.

He isn't an end zone threat. He is a chain mover, much like Bess, just twice as good.

Exactly. He's a YAC specialist with this innate ability to juke the **** out of everyone. I know he can jump like Steve Smith if he has too, but that's what Parker is for.

He is the best #2 WR in the game. No question. I just wish he had a true #1 on the other side.

But what I love about that projection though is he had 110 catches for 1,157 last year so his YPC has definitely increased which I think we all wanted to see.

I'm definitely willing to give Parker more time to mature into the #1 role. Most receivers take 3 years to get there - he hasn't even had one yet.

If he could be better at deciding when to juke the hell out of everybody vs plant his foot and go he could be something extremely special. I still think to all the yards he gets fighting and juking he probably leaves almost as many on the field by juking instead of running in space. Still, glad we have Juice and I'm loving him on my fantasy football team.

His first down percentage is low when compared to other top wide
receivers, now is that due to his QB,his slot receiver position, short passes, or routes run?

His 12.05 yards per reception ranks him 60th among WRs,RBs, and TEs

At 53.7 % he ranks around the mid 40s for wide receivers

And no I'm not pissing on Landry as he's one of my favorite Dolphin players

Is that ranking for all receivers or filtered for slot receivers? I can't believe he isn't top in all slot WR's
