Jarvis Landry has some skills ;)

This pick has Lazor written all over it. I'm very pleased.

Good hands will make some tough catches. Needs better ball security during YAC. Should help in the running game he seems to enjoy blocking. Maybe this will rub off on Wallace.

I love this pick. Hell, if no other reason than I'm sick and tired of my receivers dropping everything in Madden. Maybe he will have a better "catch in traffic" rating. Lol.

Seriously, though... I have a feeling he will be an outstanding receiver for us.

I like the pick as well. I guess now I'll finally have to let go of my bitterness towards him for dropping 10 for 150+ and a td on me in fantasy when they played Georgia last year. I've seen him make some pretty nasty catches in traffic which is exciting!

JARVIS LANDRY HAS SOME SKILLS?

theres an under statement.

Is it just me....... Doesn't Landry remind you of the type of receiver OJ MCduffie was. They have the same frame, both weren't speed demons. Juice made the tough catches work the middle and get first downs, move the chains. landry does all that. Any one else see it?

Where were all the draftniks on here on this guy?

you kiddin me? a football player.

forget speed and all that other crap. combine schmombine.

all guts. gonna be instant flyer on special teams. slot guy who will dominate with Gibson.

WR requires a lot of skills, but at the end of the day there are two that reign supreme: getting separation and catching the ball. If Landry continues to do those things like he did in college he will be an excellent addition. Tannehill has the short to intermediate accuracy, quick release, and ball velocity to make the great hands Landry a star moving the chains.

Lazor's offense is a little different from Sherman's and Philbin's, which revolved around the underneath routes, but Landry will still get a ton of opportunities in Lazor's system. Coupled with the good play we saw from Gibson before he got hurt ... you know, when we were winning ... this move gives Tannehill a stable of solid receivers for legit 4 and 5 WR sets. It also helps against Injuries as Gibson can play inside or outside.

This selection does not bode well for keeping Dustin Keller though. It seems we will be throwing to more WR's underneath than Lazor's preferred TE routes.

Lazor's offense is a lie different from Sherman's and Philbin's

i dont think there is any book on "lazors offense" yet as he hasnt been a coordinator in the nfl yet. he also said his college offense was no where near what he wanted and he has eveolved and will incorporate things he picked up in philly. bill himself said......... .

Lazor, who will be calling plays in the NFL for the first time, said he wasn’t sure yet exactly what type of offense the Dolphins will run. But he said it will cater to Miami’s talent.

“The No. 1 factor in what we do and specifically how it looks is going to be the ability of the players we have,” he said.

i wouldnt put any style or philosophy on lazor right now. love the hire though. i firmly believe he will give us a fresh, productive offense [if tanny fixes his issues].

Reminds me of an identical catch Chris Carter made for MIA during his brief stint here.
