How can you not love this pick can't wait to see him play. He's going to be a monster for us he catches everything (1 drop out of 106 thrown his way last yr) and is tough as hell.

Steal of the draft so far in my opinion.

Love this draft!

We shored up the line which is setting up to potentially be very dominate this year and picked up a Anquan Boldin type wr!!

keep it up Hickey :hclap:

Agree. Hartline is good but poor in YAC. Gibson coming off ACL.
Wallace is one trick pony. Mathis needed to do more in last few games and did not come through.

We needed a WR and got a very good one. Boldin and Cris Carter type of WR. I love the pick. I like Jordan Mathews but he was already taken so trade down and got landry.

Todd McShay says he is the toughest WR in the draft, and one of the toughest players in college ball. We need toughness. I just love Landry's hands and the way he goes up for the ball. I could care less if he doesn't run a 4.4. Love the pick.

Roman, idk how long you've had that mock up in your sig but if it's been longer than 2 days... VERY NICELY DONE!

ok, lets put this to rest. he had ONE bad timing which everyone from mayock to landry himself says was an absolute, one off fluke.

he has been CONSISTENTLY clocked in the upper 4.4, 4.5 range. look at the films. he is not even close to a 4.7 speed player.

and like jerry rice who was a pedestrian 4.6 speed wr, landry looks and plays 4.3 on the field. this is a special player who is ANYTHING BUT SLOW!!!

i firmly believe he will put rasheed and or gibson out to pasture and has the game to be oroty!! the only question is, can tanny do his part. landry can and has gone deep many times and is "mark clayton like" FEARLESS over the middle. he, like clayton, welcomes the contact and loves going across the middle. he is great at using his body to shield off guys on slants and deep middle patterns but tanny is always hesitant about throwing to guys who are close in to his target. i think tanny will struggle some with that. this is a MONSTER YEAR for tanny!! has he fixed his deep ball? can he throw with more anticipation? will his pocket awareness improve and he stops holding the ball to long [a lot of last years sacks were do to this]. and above all, can he prove to hickey [who didnt draft him] that he is truly a franchise qb and the finz should re up his contract after this year and pay him the mega bux!!

big year for tanny. big year for us!!

loving this draft. not perfect, not all the guys i wanted but landry and turner were tops on my list to be in a fins uni. and the james pick is looking more and more calculated and the right choice for what we needed at rt in our zbs scheme. there were no ot's who were the zbs skilled james is. they stood pat because he was the perfect fit, he had the skills they wanted for the scheme and for rt.

that takes BALLS. i am sure they new this pick would not be popular and that most expected a trade. if he is a day one starter [as he should be] and is the answer to the rt position, hickey is going to be praised long and wide for standing on his conviction and doing his homework on the other tackles who were not the zbs players james is.

this is hickey WINNING!!

That was one of the worst highlight videos I've seen.

I mean, the highlights themselves were awesome, but the constant effects that were added to the video every half a second completely ruined it.

This is a Rishard Mathews replacement,. nothing more. Gibson's recovery is on schedule and if he is healthy he will be the slot starter. Fins did not move the needle on any of their picks this year. Not a single starter except for James and that is a reach pick and the only reason he might start is the woeful condition of this OL talent.

Not a single difference maker picked, and perhaps not a single starter.

Go ahead and drink kool aid if you will.

so who should we have picked los dolfins??

from what I see we have 4 potential starters, and at least 2 on the ol.

Any one else notice the clips shown on NFL Network of the LSU QB, Mettzenberger? Virtually everyone of his throws that they showed had an amazing route and catch by Jarvis Landry. I personally love this pick.

HAHA You'll see Landry is gonna be a beast dude catches everything and he's way faster than what he ran at the combine he's more in the 4.5 range his instincts, ball skills, and hands are off the charts you can't teach that. Let alone he's one of the if not the most physical wrs in college football. Perfect combo to rip up the league.
