He hits the nail on the head. You need to protect the QB to buy the time to make plays downfield. Without that protection, with a line ranked dead or next to dead last in the league, plays downfield are not going to develop. It's not rocket science.

Hopefully Gase realizes force feeding Landry bubble screens at the LOS isn't how you win football games. Expand his route tree and let him prove why he's one of the better receivers in the league.
