Vikings | Greenway agrees to terms
Thu, 27 Jul 2006 05:55:00 -0700
<A href="http://www.kffl.com/link/33">Sean Jensen and Don Seeholzer, of the Pioneer Press, report Minnesota Vikings first-round draft pick LB Chad Greenway has agreed to terms on a multiyear deal, a person close to the negotiations said. His agent, Marvin Demoff, was completing details of the contract with the team Wednesday night, July 26.

Yea...the Jets also signed D. Brickshaw Ferguson their top pick. I think it's time Allen signs.

Are you guys speculating and hoping he will sign today or tomorrow, or do you factually know this.

This doesn't bode very well.

Dolphins | Contract talks with Allen moving slow
Thu, 27 Jul 2006 05:30:26 -0700
Armando Salguero, of the Miami Herald, reports the Miami Dolphins are still trying to sign first-round pick FS Jason Allen before the start of training camp Saturday, July 29. Indications are that Miami wants Allen to sign a six-year contract, but the player's agent, Mitch Frankel, wants a shorter term.

its all speculation, but their points are valid because it gives Jason Allen a good number to go by for how much money he should sign for...

Six years huh? Well, RB only got 5 so i hope that NS isnt stuck on 6

Let Allen rot all year on his couch and let him go back into next years draft so he can be picked 3rd.

Lets not get too excited...

Hopefully we can get this done soon... The difference might be in whether he deserves CB money or S money....

i think the money issue is more about where he was picked. the 6th year is much more significant than the difference in $100k to $400k on his signing bonus.

That's what I see also. It's not the money, it's how long Miami wants to lock him up for.
