Do you guys think Allen goes too low when tackling? I saw him come up for a tackle in the first preseason game and he goes real low. Earily similiar to when he busted his hip and when he was trucked by ronnie brown. I just feel when you go that low in the nfl you have no center of gravity and can get run over or injured.

his very first play he lowered his head and buried into the belly of the running back. I remember thinking he wasn't going to last to long if he squared up like that....I was proud tho...I really was.

I don't know how much of JA you saw while he was in College, but he is a standout tackler from the safety position. I really get upset when people refer back to the JA-Brown incident, like that's a barometer of this guy's skills. He's good with wrapping up and he is never afraid to stick his nose in on a tackle, even if there's a chance he doesn't bring the guy down. This isn't something you see in the secondary often(Madison)

he was attempting to put a helmet on the ball + fumble ( just my guess)

I've been helmeted in the balls, and let me tell ya, you fumble 100% of the time.

how better to tackle someone then tacking out their legs with all your body weight? only fred beasly can get aruond that.

i dont know how different the NFL is. but in high school, the lower you got, the better. as long as you get low with good balance.

you get run over easier when trying to tackle high

Ya i know your suppose to get low but he gets really low IMO. I did see him lead with the top of his helmet on the first tackle. They dont teach that in high school/college. Lead with you face mask so you can see not with the crown of your helmet. Maybe it was just that play that he went really low but overall he's a solid tacker.

He got busted by Ronnie because he was too high... not to low. I dont know how you tackle too low??
