I watched the entire game but only remember seeing Jason make a few plays. I remember one deep pass where he stuck to the receiver like glue, but thats all i really happened to catch. The Seahawks offense seemed to throw to Will Allens side alot more i remember, but how did Jason do covering today, did he get beat at all?? Just curious, thanks alot

he didn't really get much playing time as the the other games. He was pretty quite

I think he really only plays when we go nickel and due to seahawks WR talent it looked like we focused on stopping the run and getting pressure on wallace. I think thats why we didnt see much of Allen today, but the few times we did, he was doing his job.

Nothing too impressive today. The only play I remember was him doing something negative and the Seahawks dropping a pass or something.

Not sure what you're referring to.

Jason Allen was not involved in that many plays. One the lone play were they targeted him one-on-one on a deep ball down the right sideline, he was more or less stride for stride with the receiver and broke up the pass attempt.

I wasn't saying that he played poorly at all. I was just saying that he really wasn't involved in that much of note which is not always a bad thing.

No, I didn't mean to insinuate that you were.

I just didn't know what play you were referring to when you said that he did something "negative."

the play that the wide up reciever dropped the pass in the endzon was coverage blown by JA according to the radio announcers. I did noe see the game today:boohoo:. My newspaper lied and said the game was going to be televised and it wound up it wasnt. really got my blood boiling too I was all football ready at the house if I would of known it wasnt on I would of been at da bar

i was suprised at them attacking will allen all game, i guess they tried to tire him out and then attack the rest of our def..

they definatly owned the middle of the feild, we dont have good coverage LB's but very good blitzing LB's.. they hit the underneath all day...

Yea, much less nickel being played today, they seemed to go with a third LB (Anderson) more than a 5th DB . . . basically due to the lack of WR talent and because of Wallace's scrambling, like someone else mentioned about.

The play I remember was when the Seattle WR caught it but was out of bounds right away . . . Jason said the guy pushed off . . . I dunno, Seattle was doing so much blocking in the back and holding today, and they were just not getting called. I think the D and the special teams units were getting frustrated.

Most of their real passing damage went to the TE John Carlson. The guy is a Fasano clone.

Agreed, except that Carlson is bigger, with longer arms, more bulk, and IMHO a fantastic rookie. He was 1 of 2 TE's I really liked coming into this draft. He clocked slow (4.88) at the combine, but he sure looks a lot faster than that on the field. Some people look fast in shorts and others shine in pads. I guess Carlson is the latter.

I like Fasano and am pleased with him. But, I just think John Carlson is a better player and only going to improve. Then again, we'd never have gotten Carlson for what little we gave up to get Fasano. But if in a couple years they want to trade him, we're there. :D
