Jason Allen wins the best hit award on NFL Network!

They showed three clips saving the best for last with JA's awesome hit on the TE over the middle. We basically took him out of the game and guess what, Houston may give Brady some hell because NE was pretty beat up before today, and now they are more banged up.

I thought the hit was way overrated. It was a great play by Allen, he caused the incompletion, but it surely wasn't a HUGE hit.

I saw that and it must have sucked for Watson to get hit that hard and he didn't even try to catch the ball he tried to protect himself.

I would like to see you go out there and get hit like that and to say it wasn't a huge hit is an understatement he was hit from the top and bottom and was knocked out of the game.

Actually, Zach's hit was not as "jacked up" as it seemed. It was more of a sudden hit. I dont think the hit phased Heath Evans all that much accept that he did not excpect to be hit so quickly.


They did the replay on that with the sound and it was not as heavy sounding as I expected. Great tackle hit. Zach for Hall of fame.

considering it was a FS puttin a hit on a TE (not sure what the weight differential is, but it is significant) i'd say it was quite an impressive hit and warrants the best hit of the day. zachs hit was also well done
