Sorry , this was already probably posted but can someone tell me how Jason Allen is doing and when he may get to start?

He missed camp and Saban's system is complex and wah, wah, wah, wah. Both Simpson and Whitner are playing and playing well already. This guy better be in there soon.

Hes playing on Special Teams at the moment. When he gets to play on D let alone start is anyones guess.

He's starting on my franchise in Madden and that's about the only place he's playing. He's been a bit of a dissapointment there if it means anything.

Perspective:

Sean Taylor was one of the most gifted college athletes I have ever seen.

"On the field during the 2004 season, Taylor was successful, emerging as the Redskins' starting free safety by the third game of his rookie season. For the season, he had the team's second most interceptions, with four. In addition to his four interceptions, Taylor had 89 tackles, two forced fumbles and one sack. He started for the Redskins in 13 of the season's 16 games."

Jason Allen does not have the talent of a Sean Taylor so relax and let him develop.

In my honest opinion, once Jason Allen comes back,I'm pretty sure Travis Daniels will be in. It stated he was going to play this past week,so in time being,he can probably be on the field.

Alongside with those two,I believe we should sign back Lance Shulters,he had a great year for us last year,a former pro bowler, and proved he can play even after all those injuries.

If we can get all this in tact, We will have CB#1 Daniels, CB#2 Will Allen, FS Jason Allen and SS Lance...that's pretty nasty

But to get that like that,Lance has to come in,learn the scheme, and dominate...and by that time hopefully the offense will pick up making the season somewhat looking up.

Why is he needed?

Rookies start on bad/depleted teams. 5th ranked pass defense in the whole league. Couple of big plays due to miscommunication but still.

The Jason Allen bashing needs to stop. Give the guy some time, Geez.

The Safety position requires different responsibilities in different defenses. Sabans defense requires the safety to make a lot of complex calls. Do u want someone out there who hasn't seen all these offenses and puts the team in the wrong defense?

Donte Whitner of Buffalo is playing a vanilla Tampa 2, where they have a lot less complicated scheme. They have already conceded to the rebuilding process as well.

Troy Polamalu, in a similar scheme as Saban, did not start much his rookie year.

Allen held out and then got moved to CB and then moved back. Let the guy get the system down and then evaluate him.

You played us and the Steelers with Batch....two run oriented teams..... and you still got burned a couple times a game.....

And like you said, rookies start on bad teams......

Who's "conceded" to the rebuilding process? We're rebuilt...the guys on our team will be here for a while......

And don't you guys have 4 new guys in your secondary....what do you call that?

But your right.....Sabans D is complicated....apparently too complicated for anyone to possibly learn and play effectively ......same with Mularkeys offense.

Endless entertainment around here.
Sure it means something. Everyones career can be guaged by how they were programmed into Madden.

Hell scouts are using NCAA football video games to scout prospects now.
No need to break down game film anymore.

You are rebuilding when you get rid veterans in favor of rookies and/or youth in the offseason which is what the bills have done.

The Dolphins do have 4 new guys but all are veterans. I am just saying that Saban's scheme requires a bunch of calls and stuff and is probably hard for a rookie to learn who had like 3 weeks of practice.

Saban ran the same scheme in college and won a national championship. It is the same scheme that Bellichek runs in New England.

Mularkey had many successful years as an OC for the Steelers.

The Dolphins have problems, but let's see how good the Bills look at the end of the season.

EARTH TO BUFFALO

When you say our secondary "got burned acouple of times a game" what exactly are you trying to say? I didn't see a single play where our secondary got burned vs Buffalo. Loseman only had 83 yards passing and the longest pass of the day was 19 yards. So is a 19 yard pass "getting burned"? Why dont you go back to your message board until you can come up with something intelligent to say. Maybe over in Bills Land you can say "got burned acouple of times each game" and everyone will agree but in Dolphin Land you just look like an idiot for making STUPID statements.

I know you guys won "your Superbowl" last week but get over it. We realize we lost to an inferior team just as we did several years ago when Houston came into Miami and shocked us on opening day. I have lots of family in Buffalo and they all called to say how happy they were to "win our Superbowl by beating Miami in Miami.
