I have to admit that I thought Taylor would dominate in this new defense. So far, he has been good, but not at the level I expected.
My question to you guys is, did I expect too much or does it seem like he could be utilized better?

He has 3 sacks so far...which equals his output at this point last year...but in this new system, will he improve or more of the same?

Wait till he gets completely healthy...He tore off the fiasca (sp) so he should get better fairly soon.

He was doing well until he hurt his foot. Since his injury he has had no sacks. Pre- injury he was averaging a sack a game.

Unfortunately, unless he gets to sit out a week or two, it's not going to heal. It's not going to do permanent damage by continuing to play, but it's not going to heal without rest.

taylor has been very effective in saban's new defense.....you can't just go by stats

From my understanding and admittedly its limited...the inury can heal now kinda like a hangnail once its ripped completely off it can get better but as long as its hanging on it cant....Taylors injury has ripped completely off.

From what I read his type of injury playing on it doesn't make it worse. Also it would take about 10 to 20 weeks of resting for it to actually to heal. So it is either play with pain or sit out the rest of the season for it to heal.

I said he was good...but I expected better than what I had previously seen.

I have not seen that....hence my question in my original post.

Because you wrote it as a negative

How is asking a question if a player is going to improve a negative against that player...Especially after I said he was playing well??
